This upper oven broil element delivers direct, intense heat for broiling and top-browning. Replace a failed element to restore fast, even broiling performance and consistent top heat in your electric range or wall oven.

  • Provides high radiant heat from the top of the oven during Broil for searing and browning
  • May cycle on for top-browning during Bake (on some models)
  • Typical failure symptoms: no broil heat or slow, uneven top browning
  • Replace if the element is cracked, blistered, pitted, or sparks/arcs when energized
What's included: 1 broil element Install notes:
  • Unplug the appliance or switch off power at the breaker before servicing
  • Remove oven racks; unfasten the element's mounting screws/clips and gently pull the element forward
  • Transfer wires one at a time and support them so they don't slip back through the oven liner
  • Avoid bending the new element; secure brackets/screws, restore power, and test broil
