This is a surface burner control knob for electric cooktops. It replaces a worn or broken knob so you can accurately turn the burner switch to the desired heat setting and restore a matched look on the cooktop.
I replaced the switch and the knob using only a screwdriver type handheld multi-tool. My friend had called me on 24 December because his cooktop was tripping the breaker.
