Description

This is an authentic OEM replacement .875 coupling for a log splitter. This coupling is used to connect the hydraulic pump shaft and the engine shaft. The engine provides power to the hydraulic pump, which then creates a stream of highly pressurized oil that causes the valve to engage the hydraulic cylinder and split a log. This coupling works in conjunction with a Lovejoy-style rubber spider and .500 coupling. The constant vibrations created by a running engine can wreak havoc on a coupling.
