Fix dishwasher buttons not responding or display not working with this control board assembly. Restores front panel functions and user interface.
This is an LG dishwasher primary control board assembly. The dishwasher's primary control board assembly contains the control board and the housing that protects the control board. When a dishwasher's control board malfunctions, the part should be replaced as soon as possible. The dishwasher will lose the ability to communicate vital functions that the owner selects on the main interface. Wash and rinse cycles may work on and off without warning, and the display may also be affected. Make sure the dishwasher is unhooked from its main power and water sources before starting any repairs. Slide the dishwasher from its place against the wall and remove the main faceplate and trim. Underneath the trim, the anchoring screws lie around the perimeter of the main control panel. Unthread these screws to remove the main console. With a flathead screwdriver, push the fastening clips that hold the control board assembly in place and remove it. Unhook the wires from the wire harness and prepare to install the new part. Repeat these steps in reverse to install the new control board assembly. The control board assembly is a genuine OEM product sourced directly from LG and is sold individually. This product is compatible with LG and Kenmore appliances.
