We purchased our Samsung WF419 on a “Black Friday” special November 2009 expecting to get some good years out of the washer/dryer pair. We don’t run more than 2 or 3 loads a week in the washer, so ours has had relatively little use over the beginning of its anticipated and expected long life-cycle. Leaking water dispenser inlet valve on washing machine Grete C. • Douglasville , GA • August 28, 2014
After tracing the water dripping back up through the inside of the washer I found the water dispenser inlet valve was leaking. I watched several videos to make sure I understood what was involved. I contacted a local parts company to get the part. I also searched online for the part. I found that AppliancePartsPros.com had it cheaper. I ordered late in the afternoon and it arrived the next day. It was fairly easy to installed and saved me a minimum of $99 "diagnostic" fee plus whatever the part...

Symptoms of a bad drain pump are:
- Incomplete water draining after the cycle
- An accumulation of water remaining in the tub
- Leaking from the base
- Error codes could indicate drainage problems.
This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore.

With more difficulty and frustration than expected but it works fine now.
Things learned:
