Refridgerator stopped cooling Gary S. • Madison , WI • April 13, 2015
Replaced the Thermistor Assembly and also picked up Overload Protection circuit per the comments posted by the "experts" on the web site. Both parts cheap enough. I ordered parts at 3:30 in the afternoon and they showed up the next morning from half way across the country. Outstanding service. It also fixed the 9 year old refrigerator. Replacing the parts took about a half hour most of which was moving the unit from the wall and removing the panel to get at the parts.

The Freezer Temperature Sensor is an OEM part for LG refrigerators. This sensor monitors the temperature within the freezer compartment, sending readings to the refrigerator’s control board to maintain optimal temperature levels. It plays a crucial role in ensuring that the freezer operates efficiently and keeps food items properly frozen.
Over time, the temperature sensor can fail due to regular wear and tear, electrical issues, or exposure to extreme temperatures. A faulty sensor can lead to inaccurate temperature readings, affecting the freezer's performance.
Symptoms of a bad freezer temperature sensor include:
- Inconsistent freezer temperatures
- The freezer running continuously or not running at all
- Frost buildup in the freezer compartment
- The control board displaying error codes related to temperature
This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore.

LG refrigerator not cooling but freezer worked after viewing videos and talking to AppliancePartsPros, I ordered the parts Robert C. • Flowery Branch , GA • November 30, 2019
I removed the defrost sensor assembly, installed a new one, it worked. Because of a shipping problem with FEDEX, Appliancepartspros resent the parts not once but twice. Needless to say, they are my go-to source for parts from now on.

The condensing fan motor would not turn with power applied. Stephanie H. • Rio Vista , TX • August 29, 2017
I found the condensing fan motor would not turn with power applied. I also found a drain tube cracked and breaking.
I had to use a snub nose screwdriver to remove and replace condensing fan motor. The power wires were simply a snap on. The new drain tube just slipped on.
Thanks for the speedy delivery!

Broken snack drawer guide Robert W. • Lapeer , MI • January 16, 2017
I was unable to find the snack drawer guide which was mounted under the middle of the large shelf for my LG refrigerator. In the parts description for my model the snack drawer was mounted under a small shelf. By ordering a right hand drawer guide with a right hand shelf bracket, I was able to move the left shelf bracket and guide from the large shelf to the small shelf. Take the right small shelf bracket and put it on the large shelf. Install the new parts to the right side of the small...

This replacement fan blade mounts on the fan motor to move air for proper cooling. A cracked, loose, or damaged blade can cause noise and weak airflow—replacing it restores smooth, reliable air circulation. What it does:
- Drives airflow to help maintain stable temperatures throughout the appliance
- Supports efficient cooling by circulating air across key areas
- Common symptoms include rattling or scraping near the fan, vibration, or wobbling
- Replacement is recommended if the motor runs but the blade slips, doesn't spin, or is visibly damaged
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing
- Access the fan area by removing covers/shelves as needed
- Note blade orientation; pull the old blade straight off the shaft and press the new blade on until fully seated
- Spin the blade by hand to confirm clearances, reassemble, and restore power

Kenmore LG Refrigerator. Freezer froze up and frig quit working, Watch 3 different video on LG evap problems. Videos helped with disassembly. Once apart, fan would not come off old motor. After watching repair videos, I decided I could order the parts needed and do it myself for less than a service call, not to mention the additional cost for parts markup and installation that a service technician would charge. I am very pleased that I did. I ordered the start relay, overload and capacitor with some help from Ilya at customer service to make sure I was getting the correct replacements. Installation was easy. The hardest thing was contorting my body into a position where I could...
