I consulted with the internet and your website and determined I had a bad roller wheel. I was going to buy just one but determined if you have to take the thing apart, just replace all of them. Checked and cleaned vent which was in need of cleaning, but not too bad (I do not consider this a primary causal detail, but can be a problem, so clean yours). Replaced Hi-Limit Thermostat (safety thermostat) after confirming the circuit was open with ohm meter. While I was in there, I completely cleaned the heater and ducting and internal workings of the dryer. Was going to order 4 new wheel & spindle sets, then saw you could get just the wheel for 1/3 the cost, so I ordered those. Then in the frequently ordered other items I saw the idler wheel assy. So I ordered one of those also. Glad I did, it was in worse shape than any of the wheels which still seemed to spin freely after I got all the hairs and crap off them. From reading "troubleshooting" sites on the internet, originally thought I'd be replacing the front & rear drum rollers, so I ordered the rollers, and a new belt before I opened up the dryer, taking it out of use. When I opened it up the front rollers were "shot", and the front bulkhead was "totaled". I have an LG dryer purchased in 2007. Model: DLE9577SM. It was squeaking at start-up and rumbling a little. Not knowing what parts I would actually need, I ordered rollers with/without assemblies, tensioner pulley-only, new belt. If your LG Front load washers sounds like a freight train, STOP USING IT. You're doing more damage and will need more parts to fix it. After the noise became unbearable, I began to explore and disassemble. I knew enough to know the bearings must be bad but had never done this repair before. I spoke with the experts at parts pro and they suspected the main power board. I ordered the main power board along with the control panel. Since I was taking everything apart I decided to replace other components as well- thermostats, thermistor , sensor wire. When I was all done the old LG was back to working like new. I replaced the dryer motor. I followed the repair video on the Appliance Parts Pro site, with a few modifications to the procedure. I loosened the control panel and flipped it forward to improve access to the wiring connectors. I also loosened the front panel and tipped it forward before disconnecting the door switch as there wasn't enough space to disconnect the switch otherwise.
