The Turbidity Sensor is an OEM part for Bosch dishwashers. It is a component located inside the dishwasher that plays a key role in monitoring water quality during each wash cycle. The turbidity sensor detects small food particles and residue in the water, relaying this information to adjust water temperatures, spray pressures, and cycle times accordingly to achieve optimal cleaning results.
Causes of failure could be normal wear and tear over time, mineral buildup affecting the sensor's ability to read water quality accurately, or damage from electrical faults.
Symptoms of a bad turbidity sensor include:
- Inconsistent or inadequate cleaning performance
- Extended cycle times
- Error codes displayed related to water issues
This genuine OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau and select Kenmore models.

Bosch dishwasher would not stay on and water remained in bottom of washer Bob F. • Theodosia , MO • April 01, 2022
Ordered and replaced sump pump, backflow preventer valve and turbidity sensor on Bosch dishwasher. The latter two parts were recommended when ordering the sump pump and did need replacing. The videos showing how to remove and replace each part are great. The project went well and the dishwasher is fixed for less than 1/4 of what it would cost to get a repairman out here. In all fairness we do live in a remote location and do not have any local appliance repairmen. This is the third project I...

Symptoms of a cover needing replacement include:
- Visible cracks or holes that compromise the barrier
- Loose or sagging fit that allows internals to be exposed
- Warping or melting of the protective plastic shield
This genuine OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau and select Kenmore models.

Dishwasher continually filling with water Jack M. • Siloam Springs , AR • December 15, 2014
Web site helped me diagnose problem as water inlet valve not fully shutting off. Repairman quoted me 200.00 to fix, so I decided to gamble the price of the item and repair myself. Web site offered easy to follow, detailed video instructions, had the part replaced and back to working like new in less than 30 minutes.

Bosch dishwasher would not finish the cycle David C. • Morristown , NJ • October 23, 2019
I replaced the controller, the thin seal @ the top and the cable in the door and has seemed to resolve the issue. I removed the three screws that were in the upper part of the door handle slot and took out the inner panel screws on the door. No need to take the screws for the hinges out. The door will spring shut once you take the inner panel off so be careful. You'll need a Torx screwdriver

The Auxiliary Tool is an OEM part for Bosch dishwashers. This specialized tool is designed to assist with the removal and replacement of the metal nut found on the zeolite container or filter housing.
Proper maintenance such as routinely replacing the zeolite container is important for keeping a Bosch dishwasher operating at peak performance. The zeolite acts as a water softener that reduces water hardness and aids in the cleaning process. Over time, the zeolite container will need replacement as it collects soil and contaminants.
Causes of needing to replace the metal nut can include wear and tear from repeated container changes or damage that prevents the nut from sealing properly.
Symptoms of a bad nut include:
- Inability to securely tighten the zeolite container
- Leaks developing from the filter housing area
- Reduced cleaning ability due to hard water issues
This OEM Frigidaire part is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator and some Kenmore models.

Screws had fallen out of the metal frame around the inner dw door Leonard T. • Braintree , MA • April 15, 2025
I had removed the frame some time ago to deal with a different issue. It turns out there are two types of screws. Apparently, when I replaced the screws, I did so randomly, and some did not quite fit the holes, and fell out and were lost over time. There are longer screws, 022 on your diagram, that fit the UPPER three holes in the dishwasher door frame. The shorter screws, 023 on your diagram, fit the lower three holes on the dishwasher door frame. The screw heads are the same, but the...
