- Water or moisture around the control panel

Bosch dishwasher would not finish the cycle David C. • Morristown , NJ • October 23, 2019
I replaced the controller, the thin seal @ the top and the cable in the door and has seemed to resolve the issue. I removed the three screws that were in the upper part of the door handle slot and took out the inner panel screws on the door. No need to take the screws for the hinges out. The door will spring shut once you take the inner panel off so be careful. You'll need a Torx screwdriver

The Holder is an OEM component specifically designed for select Bosch dishwashers. Located inside the lower rack, it secures serving utensils during washing to prevent accidental damage.
Through precision engineering, the holder maintains a safe yet flexibly adjustable design. This allows tool placement in multiple orientations, maximizing utility based on the specific items being washed. Its stability ensures forks, spoons, and spatulas remain neatly stored away from spinning arms below.
Causes of a bad holder can include warping and bending due to wear over time or utensils placed beyond weight limits. Potential holder damage risks impeding cleaning performance or snagging on rack components.
Symptoms of a bad holder include:
- Loose or unstable connection points inside the rack
- Inability to properly secure utensils during wash cycles
- Utensils jamming or scraping the bottom of the tub
This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore dishwashers. Replace to restore organized utensil storage and protection.

I got E15 code occasionally i would slide it out and dry out with some paper towels and it would be fine again for a few months Vincent G. • Buffalo , NY • August 13, 2018
It finally gave E15 code, then after drying out the E15 code came back within 5 minutes of running. I dried out the base then I ran the dishwasher and observed water coming down the overflow chute after running only 5 minutes. There is a water inlet (clear water chamber on the side of the machine). It had some gunk inside that was stopping a black float shut-off from moving. I replaced the water inlet chamber. I also suspected the non return valve (also called a check valve). From the parts...

Screws had fallen out of the metal frame around the inner dw door Leonard T. • Braintree , MA • April 15, 2025
I had removed the frame some time ago to deal with a different issue. It turns out there are two types of screws. Apparently, when I replaced the screws, I did so randomly, and some did not quite fit the holes, and fell out and were lost over time. There are longer screws, 022 on your diagram, that fit the UPPER three holes in the dishwasher door frame. The shorter screws, 023 on your diagram, fit the lower three holes on the dishwasher door frame. The screw heads are the same, but the...
