This is a trim rail or retaining bar that attaches to the inside of a refrigerator or freezer door to hold a shelf bin in place. It clips onto the door liner and supports the shelf so items stay organized and secure. Replace this rail if it is cracked, broken, or no longer holds the door shelf securely, causing items to fall.

Needed replacement shelf trim for freezer door and old rubber flap on ice chute was disintegrating Stephanie M. • Tyngsboro , MA • November 18, 2017
I checked on the Appliance Parts Pros website and found the exact parts. There was a full video showing how to remove the old part and install the new part. The video showed me what tools I needed and spelled out e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. Might seem mundane to someone who is savvy in making these repairs but that is the whole point: Do not assume everyone just "knows" how to DIY these appliance parts. Thank you VERY much for the speedy shipment and step by step instructions and descriptions. I...

This fan scroll gasket seals the evaporator/fan housing to prevent air bypass and maintain proper airflow through the evaporator. Replacing a worn gasket helps restore efficient cooling and reduces frost buildup. What it does:
- Seals the fan scroll/evaporator housing to direct cold air through the evaporator fins
- Prevents air leaks that can cause reduced cooling or temperature fluctuations
- Helps reduce frost or ice buildup by ensuring consistent airflow over the coil
- Can reduce abnormal fan noise caused by air turbulence around a damaged seal
What's included: One fan scroll gasket. Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before beginning any work.
- Remove the evaporator/fan housing cover and carefully pull out the old gasket.
- Clean mating surfaces of debris and residue for a flush seal before installing the new gasket.
- Seat the gasket fully around the scroll; reassemble panels and restore power to test operation.

Evaporator motor worked but was making the metal cover vibrate so loud that i distracted from converations and even the tv also the ice dispenser switch was intermittent Randall C. • Fort Worth , TX • July 06, 2026
Replaced Evaporator motor after watching the video. The new motor had the connectors on back side, but was still easy to hook up.
Also replaced the Dispenser Control bracket after watching the video.
Both jobs were very easy. So Quiet, I had to open the freezer to hear if the fan was running. Awesome!!
