I found the part I needed through AppliancePartsPros.com. The price was far more than I wanted to spend, but my wife kept asking me to get a replacement. "Any port in a storm" as the old saying goes. I'm keeping it clean for the time being. When company comes over, I'll put it in to make the refrigerator look good.

I checked on the Appliance Parts Pros website and found the exact parts. There was a full video showing how to remove the old part and install the new part. The video showed me what tools I needed and spelled out e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. Might seem mundane to someone who is savvy in making these repairs but that is the whole point: Do not assume everyone just "knows" how to DIY these appliance parts. Thank you VERY much for the speedy shipment and step by step instructions and descriptions. I...

The ice dispenser was not responsive. Mike C. • Mesa , AZ • August 23, 2022
I watched the videos available from AppliancePartsPros.com and ordered the parts to fix the problem. The problem required $20.00 worth of parts, compared to $800 to replace the refrigerator. Honestly, when troubleshooting ... the parts came apart just as advertised, and it was clear what was needed. When they arrived, the reality of dealing with plastic was an issue, but grand total of half an hour later this refrigerator was dispensing ice.
