Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You
High level of noise with each compressor cycle Bruce H. • Bonita Springs , FL • July 24, 2015
The installation of the new condenser motor was as the video described; there were no surprises. I noted the difference in operation immediately, the fan was moving at a higher rate of speed in a smoother motion. The new motor had far less shaft end play and seems to move more air across the condenser coil than the original motor. All in all, this was a relatively easy repair that solved a real refrigerator performance problem; the unit now cycles less often and generates less compressor heat.

This insul-sound deadening pad reduces vibration and noise by dampening panels and components in laundry and kitchen appliances. It's a small adhesive-backed sound/isolation pad used where noise or rattles transfer through metal surfaces. What it does
- Dampens rattles and reduces structure-borne noise from panels, cabinets and housings.
- Helps isolate vibrating components from appliance chassis to lower perceived sound.
- Commonly applied behind control panels, cabinet walls or on motor mounts to cut vibration transmission.
- Useful when worn, detached or hardened factory pads allow increased noise.
What's included
- One insul-sound deadening pad
Install notes
- Disconnect power before servicing an appliance to avoid shock or injury.
- Clean and dry mounting surface; press pad firmly to ensure adhesive contact.
- Replace only in the original location; do not cover vents or moving parts.
- If adhesive is weak, use OEM-approved adhesive; avoid solvents that may damage finishes.

- Helps restore consistent drive in shaft-driven assemblies
- Typical symptoms: loose or non-turning drive, rattling/grinding, or visible thread damage
What's included: 1 bearing nut Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing; shut off water if working near dispenser components
- Remove the related assembly to access the shaft; note part order for reassembly
- Hand-start the nut to avoid cross-threading; verify thread direction against the original
