The problem was that the motor coupler & shaft had a tiny bit of rust at their union. With the weight of the ice bin it rusted in the lowest position. This didn't allow the motor coupler to float on the shaft. There is a spring inside the shaft that pushes up on the motor coupler keeping it engaged in the ice bin coupler above. I did some research online to pinpoint what the clicking noise was - discovered it was the relay switch. Very simple repair - after I removed the back panel on fridge I located the relay mounted on side of the compressor. It came off easily. Ordered my part at 4pm and it was delivered to me by 11am the next day. Installed the new relay, plugged the fridge back in and BINGO - it worked :). Super simple to do - anyone could fix this issue on their fridge.
