This fan scroll is the molded blower housing that directs airflow from the appliance fan for efficient cooling and ventilation. Replacing a damaged scroll restores proper air path and reduces airflow noise or performance issues. What it does
- Channels air coming off the fan to the condenser/evaporator or vent area for effective heat exchange
- Holds and aligns the fan wheel and motor to maintain correct clearances and quiet operation
- Worn, cracked or broken scrolls can cause increased fan noise or reduced airflow
- Proper airflow helps the appliance maintain intended operating temperatures
What's included
Install notes
- Disconnect power before servicing; follow basic electrical safety
- Access may require removing exterior panels or the condenser/evaporator cover
- Handle the molded housing carefully to avoid cracking; reuse mounting hardware unless damaged
- Fan wheel spins freely and is properly centered in the scroll during reassembly

- Absorbs and dampens tub movement during agitation and spin to reduce vibration and noise.
- Helps maintain proper tub alignment for more even spinning and less wobble.
- Commonly replaced when the washer rocks, thumps, or makes excessive noise during spin.
- Works with the washer's suspension system to protect other components from shock and wear.
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power and shut off water supply before beginning any repair.
- Access typically requires removing the washer cabinet or front panel; follow OEM service instructions.

This is an evaporator that is located inside many refrigerators. It has a part to play in ensuring the items inside the appliance stay cold. When the refrigerator turns from a liquid into a gas through evaporation, it cools the area nearby and makes it ideal for storing perishable food items. The evaporator pulls air from the refrigerator and blows it over the coils to keep it at the appropriate temperature. There are several signs that the evaporator is damaged or no longer working correctly. Sometimes it will make a chirping or squealing noise. It may cause the refrigerator to be too warm, which may cause issues with the food items inside. Frost buildup on the coils is also a bad sign. If the evaporator is damaged, it needs to be replaced. Unplug the refrigerator and remove the panel over the evaporator. Remove the clamps to uninstall the part. The new part can be installed in the same place. Make sure to test before use. This evaporator is made to be compatible with Maytag, Whirlpool, KitchenAid, and Kenmore refrigerators. It is directly sourced from the manufacturer and sold on an individual basis. This is an authentic OEM replacement component.

High level of noise with each compressor cycle Bruce H. • Bonita Springs , FL • July 24, 2015
The installation of the new condenser motor was as the video described; there were no surprises. I noted the difference in operation immediately, the fan was moving at a higher rate of speed in a smoother motion. The new motor had far less shaft end play and seems to move more air across the condenser coil than the original motor. All in all, this was a relatively easy repair that solved a real refrigerator performance problem; the unit now cycles less often and generates less compressor heat.

Not making ice. Alan S. • Las Vegas , NV • May 17, 2020
Replaced the ice maker. The kit came with everything I needed to replace the ice maker. Parts that did not come with the kit were re-used from the old one. My Whirlpool refrig/freezer is an older model so the wiring harness that came with the kit was different from my existing. So instead of disconnecting the ice maker wiring harness from the freezer, I had to disconnect the harness at the ice maker. That was a b..... Anyway after about 20 minutes, finally unhooked the connector. I had...

The seal on the door of the refigerator was damaged also the hinge cap needed replacing as it was cracked Michael S. • Fredericksburg , VA • January 20, 2016
I took the new seal out of it's packaging and used a blowdryer on low heat to soften up the seal so that the crease from shipping (it was folded to ship) disappeared. Next I took the refrigerator door off, removed the old seal, & cleaned the area where the new seal would be applied. Following the video on the Appliance Pro Parts website, I re-installed the new seal and put the door back on. Last step was to snap on the new hinge cap I ordered. The video online was easy to follow and this...
