In the past we’ve fixed the latch with just high speed great. This time we ordered a new latch and replaced it. Washing machine has been working perfectly ever since. It was very easy to find the right part by simply entering the model number of my washing machine. It was quick delivery and the correct part. Very happy to have a working washing machine again.

The gears were rusted and stripped in the transmission and the hub was cracked. Blane L. • Columbus , OH • January 11, 2019
On a 3 year old Maytag...........New gear case and hub installed. The videos produced by AppliancePartsPros are quite helpful, even though the video was not of the exact make and model number I was repairing, the similarities were so great that it may as well have been the same make and model number (whirlpool and Maytag essentially make the same thing and slap I different sticker on them)

Broken handle foot pedal and missing parts Donald M. • Lake Arrowhead , CA • April 05, 2015
This trash compactor is in our vacation home. We never use it and now we are selling the house. When I looked to replace it I was amazed at how expensive a new compactor would cost. I found the serial number on the current compact entered it and your web site came up. Your schematics were excellent and made the repair very easy!

Whirlpool wtw5000dw1 top loader door would not lock, spin cycle would not function John C. • Cornelia , GA • December 24, 2021
Replaced door latch and switch. Parts are plastic so you must know what you are doing to avoid breaking new parts. Videos were hard to find for my model - eventually I found a video that addressed a different problem but required disassembly of a washer cabinet similar to mine. I removed the control panel using a putty knife and unplugged the wire to the latch switch. Then I remove 3 screws securing the washer's top panel to the back panel. Using a rubber mallet, I gently knocked the top panel...

The washer was shaking badly during the spin cycle David W. • Sarasota , FL • November 27, 2018
I replaced the drive block & leveling feet, it helped a lot but the washer still shakes a lot, I am now going to try replacing the suspension rod kit, These were the most recommended fixes to the problem. The repairs were not too hard, I wish I had a spanner wrench, I couldn't find it on the website.

Kenmore fh error code Michael H. • Cataula , GA • January 18, 2015
I had a problem with the drain pump on my Kenmore HE3 and I replaced it using a drain pump I ordered from APP. That fixed that problem but once I started running the washer I started getting a FH error code. I looked it up and found that it was a problem with the washer not filling properly. I pulled the washer out and found that one of the fill hoses had kinked when I pushed the washer back in place. There was also some writing on the hose that read "Change hose every five years". I know I had...

Figured out how to diagnose it and found the error codes, all online! learned how disconnect everthing and laid the washer down on its back, saw the 2 malfunctioning pieces, The Drive motor and the shift actuator, removed them and looked up model numbers, found the parts I need here on appliance parts pros and was able to order them and have them delivered in 2 days. A broken lid switch on my whirlpool stackable twin washer Joseph P. • Indialantic , FL • October 25, 2016
Fixing the problem was quite simple. First, I removed the lid assembly (thanks to the diagrams supplied by AppliancePartsPros.com!). Getting the back two screws out was very difficult because I couldn't see them from the front and I could not move the unit out of the enclosed space. After some trial and error, I located the screws which were 5/16 hex head screws and removed them with a MAGNETIC nut driver. (The magnet assures that the screw will not drop down into the mechanism). Second, I...
