Broken dryer drive belt and hole in lint screen Alan J. • Chester , PA • September 15, 2015
First off, truly impressed with the one day delivery via FEDEX. Ordered around noon or 1pm on a Friday and received it some time on the next day while at work. More time spent vacuuming the lint out from the inside and outside of the unit over the installation time. Although I removed the back for cleaning the repair starts with the removal of two sheet metal screws from the top lint trap opening, then the top pops up and two screws get removed from the top front which then lifts off. This...

Thermal fuse had blown and wire had melted as a result Benjamin S. • Portland , ME • July 02, 2018
I replaced the thermal cutoff kit and a heating element connection wire. Super simple and probably saved me over $100 if I had called a repairman. The videos on your site as well as the customer service person I spoke with were SUPER helpful. Thank you!!!

The dryer would not start Dennis S. • Bangor , PA • December 05, 2014
Replaced the push to start switch and the thermal fuse. The dryer is 23 years old and is working fine since we replaced the parts that were recommended on your website. Even with the cost of next day delivery, our cost was way less than we would have paid to have a professional repairman do the job. All around excellent experience. Thank you.

The motor on our clothes dryer was doing a "self protection" thermal or overload shutdown and there was a strong odor in the tub Jim S. • Fallon , NV • November 27, 2015
It took two repair attempts to fix the dryer. At first, I noticed that the rear felt seal was completely worn out, so I thought that extra friction between the tub and the rear panel might be causing the motor to have to work too hard and overheat. I ordered a new seal from appliancepartspros.com, and installed it according to their instructional video, but it did not correct the problem. Then I decided that the motor must be going bad, so I watched the on-line video on how to remove the...

The lever to turn on dryer was broken the handle was broken and the latch was broken David R. • Jemison , AL • February 09, 2015
I opened the top of the dryer (after watching the video on your website) and replaced the lever on the switch. Removed two screws near the lint filter, used a putty knife to release fasteners under the top and raised the top. Held it in place with a short piece of board then removed the two screws holding in the switch and lever. Replaced the broken lever with the new one and put it all back together. The handle was a little more difficult as it took a lot more prying with a screwdriver to...
