Broken water switch on freezer door malfunction on circuit board a cracked produce drawer and drawer support Mark R. • Belle Chasse , LA • April 01, 2016
Shopped online and found your great website, read reviews and based diagnostics on similarities I saw in other peoples stories. So I was able to choose correctly when replacing the circuit board.
As far as the water switch in door, and drawer parts I just replaced them because I was tired of gluing them, and knew that with everything working good again and looking good, that it would be like a Tune up for our refrigerator.

My house was struck by lightening and it fried the control board in my refrigerator... Jacqueline R. • Bethel Park , PA • March 21, 2014
I got an estimate for $793 to repair my Frigidaire Professional Series refrigerator which didn't make a lot of sense to spend that much for repair. So I was without a frig for over a year. I was pricing a new one, which I didn't like because it didn't match my other appliances when I had a idea...It was better for me to try and repair it myself then to buy something I hated. So for less than $200 and only 45 minutes of my time, my frig is back up and operating great! Oh yeah did I mention I am...

Ice dispenser auger won't stop turning Therese N. • Blacksburg , VA • November 23, 2015
First, I will never, ever make the mistake of unscrewing anything on an appliance while it is still connected to power - what started as a cosmetic fix on the freezer door ended up costing me $340 to fix after I shorted out one of the boards for the dispenser.
Replaced both the Ice dispenser power board and Ice dispenser control board. I tried to get information on how to test which of my boards had gone bad, since these are pricey parts, but could not find a reliable way to test. And since...

Ice maker door not sealing causing frost buildup and leaking Richard B. • Shoreline , WA • October 11, 2016
I wasn't sure if it was the door being warped, the spring return being worn, or the rotary damper failing, so I ordered all to update the door mechanism. I also ordered a new micro switch since one of the switches had started to require more and more pressure to actuate. Figured I'd fix it at the same time.
Repair was very straightforward and the videos available on this and other repair sites were very helpful. I found a video that showed replacing the door mechanism on a nearly identical...
