I ordered a refrigerator door hinge, hinge pin, and washer. The descriptions and pictures imply that these items are sold separately. However, the hinge I received was an assembly that included a pin and washer. I replaced the original hinge assembly with the new assembly, but the door still sagged (not as badly as before). Looked for obvious signs of mal-function, burned wires, etc. I found that the compressor controller(attached to the compressor) had an obvious burned-out spot. Took a chance that was the problem (it was); ordered all new OEM parts, including a new timer and run capacitor (a part that kicks in every time the compressor starts). Had a friend who is an appliance repair tech. Replace the evaporator, the heater coil, and the filter/drier. Parts were soldered together and the compressor was put under vacuum. Then, charged with 5 oz. of refrigerant. The freezer works great now! Read more

My problem started with a rusting condition in the ice bin that spiraled out of hand. I took apart the ice bin and all the hardware thinking I could clean it with the suggested baking powder. I ordered the door stops (or door cams) for both the fridge and freezer and the hinge bearings. I figured I might as well do both if I'm going to do one. Very easy. Watched a YouTube video. Previously, I removed the lower rear cardboard back of the unit and saw the crack in the defrost pan. It was probably damaged when unit was moved using appliance hand truck. I looked up the part number AP4319611 in the exploded view diagrams of the unit. The part was ordered and delivered in a few short days.
