Replaced the defrost heater and thermostat. Removed the back panel in the freezer. Defrosted coils with a hair blow dryer. Removed defective unit and installed new replacement. Refer is back to normal operation. Took more time to defrost than to remove and install heating unit. Read more

Disconnect power and clear the compartment before starting
Remove the affected drawer and its shelf/cover to access the slide
Release locking tabs or remove mounting screws; transfer any reusable hardware to the new slide
