The ice dispenser door was not closing tightly. As a result, there was frost build up in the ice chute, which also was allowing ambient air and temperature into the freezer compartment. Upon further inspection, there was black “schmutz” on the ice door, and the rubber ice funnel and deflector parts were deteriorating. I fixed the drip with a bit of silicone. I fixed the rusty parts Auger & End Plate by replacing them. I repaired the dispenser by replacing the defective door. I used the various videos connected with the parts ( including related parts that I did not replace but required removing them first) to learn and confirm how to properly remove and replace the parts.
