Machine was full of water and wouldn't pump it out Michael Q. • Richmond , IN • November 11, 2017
Googled the problem, watched videos on Youtube. Took apart machine and tried cleaning filter most people said was the problem. Wasn't anything but a penny in it so that wasn't the problem. I decided the pump must be bad ,the spring for the bellows and the console were broken so I bought those as well. Got the parts put them on and machine filled up with water turned over a few times and then stopped. The only thing else it could be is the fill level sensor or the main circuit board. Ordered...

After 15 years the plastic door busted where the screws held the hinges on and leaked Joseph R. • Cerritos , CA • October 10, 2016
Purchased the door panels (both sides) and replaced them both. Not sure if spending $150 on door parts for a 15 year old washer was a great investment, but the parts worked great. Took maybe five minutes to put it all back together.

The spider was completely disintegrated Molly H. • New York , NY • February 10, 2015
The biggest challenge was replacing the inner tub assembly (with spider and shaft) without full access to the top of the washer, only to the back. Due to space limitations, the matching stacking gas dryer could not be removed: it could only be elevated (using wood blocks) about 4 inches above the top of the washer. Removing the washer's hoses, motor, control panel, and rear weight, and releasing the shock absorbers, was fairly easy. But supporting the outer tub assembly, with its front-end...

Rear bearing worn out James S. • Ooltewah , TN • January 19, 2015
Replaced outer tub assembly shell. AppliancePartsPros Video was outstanding and easy to follow. Removed outer shell prior to ordering replacement. Took about 2-3 hours off and on (ie. washer and dryer were stacked and I was working in a confined space). A lot of time was spent in cleaning up the washer, spyder etc. prior to installation. Washer originally purched December 1997 so it had accumulated lots of dust, dirt, lint. Ordered shell Jan 9th 5:27AM and received it Jan 10th 2:30PM. (For...

Signs of a bad cord include:
- Exposed or severed copper wiring visible inside
- External cracks, splits or abrasions eroding the casing
- Erratic behavior during the wash cycle
- GFCI/EGCI outlet tripping frequently
Compatible models also include Electrolux, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, and Kenmore options. Maintaining safety is a top priority.

Timer would often stop moving Blaine F. • Happy Valley , OR • February 01, 2015
Ordered the replacement timer (perfect match, packed nicely, and delivered on the 3rd day after order!), sprayed a tiny bit of grease on the motor gear, and a little silicone spray on the control wheel, and installed the part.
Also, noticed that a badly balanced wash load could cause the tub to slam into the edge of the timer. I fashioned a cushion out of heavy foam and attached it under the center metal brace on top, to dampen the upward movement of the drum.
New timer works great. Time...
