Electrolux front load washer leaking. Thomas L. • Tonawanda , NY • February 22, 2019
Water was accumulating in the drawer pedestal, it was leaking from the front of the washer so I thought it was the front door seal. I also noticed it would leak even when the washer was not being used so I doubted it was the door seal. I googled the leak problems and watched a few videos which gave me confidence on washer disassembly. With the top panel off I noticed the leak coming from the water inlet assembly. Appliance Parts Pro’s had the part and replacement video and I replaced the part...

Washing machine F8 E1 error code Michael R. • Brooklyn , NY • June 02, 2018
The error code indicated the washer wasn't getting any water, although the basket was filling to an unusually high level. After checking the inlet hoses and their connections but without opening the top cover to see the actual water level pressure switch, I went ahead and ordered the part. After receiving the switch, I opened the cover and found the original switch had fallen off it's mounting (for who-knows how long ago) and was resting against the drum. Over time, the movement of the drum...

Beeping problem Paul M. • Hyattsville , MD • June 17, 2014
I had a beeping problem with my washer whereby it kept on beeping when I turned it on. After researching the issue online I saw that the control panel was the issue so I ordered a new one and installed it and voila!!! Problem solved!!
It was an easy fix and the only hard part was lifting the dryer from the washer so as to replace the part.

Odor and mold Joel S. • Derry , NH • January 26, 2016
Our washing machine door boot seal was getting moldy and causing odor problems. Cleaning tablets and bleach weren't helping so it was time to be replaced. While I had the top and front off I changed all the hoses that could be collecting soap scum and mold, all other wetted parts were removed and washed. The video on the door boot seal, and inlet valve assembly were extremely helpful in understanding how these parts are removed and reassembled. Although the door boot seal is the most visible...

E52 error code Carl B. • Glendale , AZ • October 12, 2014
Hi, it's me again. So I learned a valuable appliance repair lesson when trying to fix this washing machine: don't fix something until you figure out why it broke in the first place! The first speed control board died (fixed with my last story on year) and I assumed it was just a cheap part of something, but I was in fact proved wrong when, to my dismay, the new board died a week or so later.
Being the self-appointed washing machine expert I became after the last repair, I got right into the...

Front load washer door latch broken by movers Cyndee F. • Cookeville , TN • September 30, 2016
I ordered new latch and 2 new screws ( imagine not having the screws). I put latch in place and with a phillips screw driver attached 2 screws. Tada works like new. If the owner would have just done this herself, I wouldnt have a new set of infinity front loaders for under $300. So thrilled that I can get replacement parts for my appliances.

Error code 41 Oh the beeping! Amy N. • Pike Road , AL • April 15, 2018
After reading up on the error codes, I found that my constant beeping was telling me that the door was not well latched. My machine is 12 years old and has seen heavy use, including a broken door handle that has been hanging on with copious amounts of duct tape for a while. I replaced the bent door hinge, worn door latch, and the outer handle. The entire repair required ten minutes and a Phillips head screwdriver. Now it works perfectly with NO more beeping!! Thank you AppliancePartsPros!!

The Cord is an OEM replacement part for Frigidaire washing machines. Extending from the rear of the unit, it safely powers the washer through a connection to a wall outlet.
Causes of cord failure are normal wear from frequent coiling and plugging/unplugging motions over the appliance's lifespan. Rodents or sharp edges may also damage the outer jacketing.
Signs of a bad cord include:
- Exposed or severed copper wiring visible inside
- External cracks, splits or abrasions eroding the casing
- Erratic behavior during the wash cycle
- GFCI/EGCI outlet tripping frequently
Compatible models also include Electrolux, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, and Kenmore options. Maintaining safety is a top priority.
