Replaced the water tube that went from the plastic tubing to the ice cube tray. Found that even though it was the same exact length as the original, there was only an extremely small gap from the end of the tube to a splash board. This may have been the root cause of my problems. Read more

A friends family had left her refrigerator out on a porch while they were remodeling the house she was supposed to move into. A wind storm blew the refrigerator off the porch and tore the door off. Took things apart after watching the videos and saw the ice maker was functional but all corroded or dirty with stuff from water and in watching the video realized the water on the floor was unrelated to the ice maker. I bought the parts to make the repair. Two comments to the videos, the one for the icemaker should show how to get the top basket out of the freezer.
