- Helps limit moisture/sweating at the middle of the refrigerator
- Replaces a cracked, loose, or broken mullion that causes air leaks, doors popping open, or poor sealing
What's included: One refrigerator door flipper mullion assembly Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing; remove door bins for access
- Remove mounting screws; lift off the assembly and disconnect the harness if equipped
- Transfer any end caps/brackets; ensure spring orientation and proper wire routing during reassembly

This acoustic fiber is the sound-absorbing insulation used in a refrigerator's machine compartment. Replacing a missing or damaged pad reduces operating noise from the compressor area and helps maintain the unit's intended sound levels.
- Absorbs and dampens compressor and condenser fan noise from the rear machine compartment
- Helps reduce vibration resonance transmitted through the cabinet
- Restores sound control when original insulation is torn, saturated, or missing
- Common symptoms: increased humming, buzzing, or rattling from the back or bottom of the refrigerator
What's included: One acoustic fiber insulation pad. Install notes:
- Disconnect power and pull the refrigerator forward for rear access
- Remove the lower rear access panel and note the insulation's placement/orientation
- Position the new pad in the same location; keep clear of coils, wiring, airflow paths, and moving parts
- Reinstall the access panel and restore power; verify no contact or obstruction

The fridge part of refrigerator unit quit getting cold, but the freezer coils/fins were frozen. Pamela B. • Olympia , WA • November 21, 2021
First I emptied and cleaned out the entire refrigerator. Then I unplugged and defrosted the unit. As that was happening, I vacuumed out the back compressor area. ( the noise reduction pad disintegrated so replaced) , Googled the problem, and watched a youtube video on how to test and fix the issue. Took the back of the inside freezer compartment off and metered the heating coil. It was good. Then popped off the control panel cover in the fridge compartment and tested the motherboard. ...

Old seals were dry rotting and cracking Nick W. • Winston Salem , NC • February 10, 2026
Pulled out old parts, and swapped with new. New seals needed to be warmed up with a hair dryer to get wrinkles out from shipping, but that was simple as well. With my fridge, there was also a secondary piece on the door which needed to be removed with a screw. Took some extra time to give all those surfaces on the fridge a much needed cleaning while the seals were off. New seals fit perfectly and the replacement was simple- video provided on the website was also helpful.

Refrigerator door gaskets needed replaced Ricchard L. • Bellevernon , PA • October 07, 2015
The gaskets arrived the day after ordering. I went on Google to watch videos of how the gaskets for my model refrigerator were to be replaced. After viewing the videos I anticipated a more difficult time completing the replacement, when in fact is was very simple. I removed the old gaskets and placed the new ones in the dryer to soften and make more pliable for replacement. It went extremely smoothly even though I anticipated having issues.

Ice/water dispenser quit working when pad was pressed turns out my 2 year old son pulled the dispenser pad forward and caused the parts to warp out of place Jared T. • Johnson City , TN • April 02, 2019
Repairman said I'd need to replace the entire chute inside at a cost of nearly $400! Ordered the chute myself for a little over $100. Took me about a half an hour to carefully disassemble the water/ice dispenser and replace with the new one. The job wasn't hard, I'm just not a very "handy" guy but I love a good challenge and am very careful not to pull and pry on things which may break. It was literally only 4 screws that had to be removed and some wiring harnesses holding everything together....
