I had to remove the oven door, which I learned is made to come off without tools. Then took out the bottom by removing two screws and lifting. Removed the screws attaching the igniter, pulled wires thru back until I could get the connector and disconnect. When the new igniter arrived, I had to change the connector. I cut the one off the old one, and spliced to the new one using solder and shrink tubing. Just reverse the procedure to install. I replaced the screws with new ones.

The fix for this is easy, & quick. It required a phillips screwdriver.
UNPLUG the stove!
Remove the oven control panels top & bottom two screws.
Remove the control knob & the two retaining screws securing the faulty control from the panel. Swap each individual set of wires from the old one, to the new control terminals & remount it, the panel, & knob.
