My problem was not an appliance; it was a harvest gold bath tab we had patched a crack in the bottom of the tub and it left a big ugly brown spot Deborah N. • Georgetown , SC • July 17, 2014
I ordered harvest gold touch-up paint and painted over the area. So far, the paint staying and I think it looks fine. This surely beats replacing the whole tub!

This is a circular convection heating element located behind the rear panel of the oven cavity. It works in conjunction with the convection fan to heat and circulate air evenly throughout the oven for consistent baking and roasting results. Replace this element if your oven fails to heat properly in convection mode, heats unevenly, or if the element shows visible damage such as cracks or burn spots.

The Bake Heating Element is an OEM Replacement Part for Whirlpool ovens, designed with push-on terminals. It measures 14-5/8" from the front to the mounting bracket, 19" in width, and 2-1/2" from the mounting bracket to the terminal end. The mounting holes on the bracket are spaced 1-7/8" apart, center to center. The terminals are designed as 1/4" male spades and the unit is rated for 2500 Watts at 240 Volts.
Causes of a bad bake element may include repeated heating and cooling cycles over time, electrical malfunctions, or physical damage from impact or exposure to spills.
Symptoms of a faulty bake element include:
- Oven not heating up properly or taking an excessive amount of time to preheat
- Hot or cold spots within the oven cavity, leading to uneven baking
- Visible damage or discoloration to the bake element itself
- Popping or sparking noises coming from the element area
This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.
This part fixes the following symptoms
-
Oven not heating evenly
-
Little to no heat when baking

Our oven was turning out underdone baked goods. Jack H. • Jonesborough , TN • April 03, 2021
The stove is about 19 years old. We had a difficult time getting baked goods to be cooked on the inside as well as outside (bundt cakes especially). I replaced the oven temperature sensor probe, used a digital oven thermometer (as well as the older type) to measure the oven temp. The older, dial thermometer hit and pretty much stayed at the set 350 deg F. The digital one showed a plus/minus 20-degree fluctuation and all seems well. We haven't baked a bundt cake to test, yet, but we will...

Burned out your broiling element in oven Steven W. • Tallahassee , FL • August 25, 2016
When I ordered the correct part from Appliance Parts Pro and, here's the big takeaway, I watched the accompanying video. With this repair there were 4 connectors coming thru 2 openings of the rear oven wall. In the video it advised to tie a twist tie around each so they couldn't slip back into the rear panel. If they did it would have required pulling the oven out, removing the back and guiding the connectors back thru the rear wall openings. TWIST TIES...Wise words!!!! Did as instructed and...

My electric oven would not fully heat up Richard Z. • Avon , MN • December 20, 2014
The first thing I did was call appliance pros. The tec told me it was a good chance it was the thermostat. He told how to test it with my ohm meter and what range it should be in. I pulled it out and tested it, which was out of the limits he told me it should be in. So I ordered the part. When it arrived in two days, I installed it. The oven now works perfect. Thank you so much. I was just about to go spend $800 on a new oven, and instead fixed it for $75. Awesome website. It was...

Microwave oven power was out; upon examing the internal found in line fuse was blown Steven D. • La Habra , CA • February 27, 2015
In addition to blown fuse; the fuse holder was melted at one end. Checked the unit to see if any part or wiring that would cause the issue, none was visible. Referred to wiring diagram included inside to identify components, including interlocks. All seemed functional. Bought replacement 20A fuse. Fuse holder no longer available so bought similar unit with 25A rating - little retrofitting.
Put unit back together, and it's working so far. Wife is happy.
