I know absolutely nothing about fixing appliances, nothing. So I googled and found this site and narrowed it down to 1 of three parts (totaling about $550). I tried the first two and with no luck I almost gave up thinking I didn't know what I was doing and better off buying a new stove. Ordered Bake Element, Y04100019 (Whirlpool AP4283614) to replace a broken bake element on my 30-year old Jenn-Air Model S125 Downdraft Slide-in electric range. Received the element very quickly but it had been damaged in shipping. Called AppliancePartsPros to report this and they quickly shipped another element - very easy process. • Door won't close

This oven was a Kenmore model #66595822003. I replaced both spring hinges. This oven was a white oven so it took the MFG# WP8053807 hinge (order two of them). They are the same hinge. No left or right. To get the door off the oven, open the door all the way open, I installed pins (preferably only 1/4" long) in the holes of both hinges. Then remove the spring steel retainers above old hinges in the oven frame. These holds hinges in place. Now close the door until hinge stops on pins. Lift up... Read more

By-the-way,this was ALL PRECIPITATED by wanting to clean the interior side of oven door glass after my wife self-cleaned the oven! How in-the-world did grease get there in the first place!? We found a video on how to change out the glass and looked fairly easy. My husband, being the skeptic that he is, wasn't on board as readily as I was but we tried it regardless. To his surprise in about 30 minutes we did it! So easy and a big thanks to Appliances Parts Pros for the part. We had the new part in 1 1/2 days...I was expecting it to be delivered in 5 days! Could not level stove. Front leveling legs had pieces broken out where leg contacted floor. Back leveling legs were worn and did not stay at corrected height when stove returned to full weight on floor. Replaced both front and back leveling legs, and stove was able to be leveled. Also bought Touchup Paint for numerous nicks and scratches - color matched perfectly. Read more

I searched on your website for a replacement stem. Unfortunately the stem is not sold separately. I purchased the entire valve after confirming with your online rep that I was ordering the correct part. I received the valve in 2 days removed the stem and inserted it directly into the existing burner valve. Perfect fit easy installation and burner works as it should. Used the advice found on appliancepartspro.com and ordered a new Spark Module. They said that this is a known issue with my particular model. I am happy to say that everything went as smooth as silk and had watched the instructional video a couple of times while my part was on the way. The new Spark Module is a genuine OEM Whirlpool part that was a direct fit with no modifications needed.
