- Replaces lost, stripped, or corroded screws at the original mounting points
- Helps eliminate rattling, vibration, or loose handles/covers
- Addresses situations where a screw will not tighten or backs out during use
What's included: 1 truss head tapping screw Install notes:
- Disconnect power; shut off water/gas if applicable before servicing
- Align parts and hand-start threads to avoid cross-threading
- Tighten until snug; do not overtighten to prevent stripping

A high-voltage capacitor for the appliance's high-voltage circuit that stores and releases electrical energy to support proper heating operation. Replacing a failing capacitor can restore consistent heating and prevent related electrical faults. What it does:
- Stores and delivers high-voltage energy used by the magnetron/ high-voltage assembly to generate heat.
- Failure may cause no-heat or weak-heat conditions in the oven.
- Faulty capacitors can contribute to arcing, loud humming, or blown high-voltage fuses.
- Works as part of the HV circuit; not a user-serviceable low-voltage control.
What's included: One high-voltage capacitor. Install notes:
- High-voltage components can hold a dangerous charge—disconnect power and discharge the capacitor before servicing.
- Use insulated tools and avoid touching terminals; verify proper operation with appropriate test equipment.

- Commonly installed when an appliance won't heat, overheats, or cycles erratically
- Works as a direct replacement for the OEM thermostat designed for compatible LG units
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before starting any repair to avoid shock or injury

This is a truss-head tapping screw used to secure trim, panels, and small assemblies on compatible LG appliances. It provides a low-profile, wide-bearing head that helps hold parts flush and resist pull-through. What it does:
- Fastens plastic and sheet-metal components where a self-tapping thread is needed
- Truss head spreads load to prevent damage to soft or thin materials
- Helps secure control panels, brackets, or trim pieces that require a low-profile head
- Common replacement when original mounting screws are missing, stripped, or corroded
What's included:
- One truss-head tapping screw
Install notes:
- Use the correct screwdriver bit and moderate torque to avoid stripping the screw or workpiece
- Start threading straight and let the screw form threads without forcing at an angle
- Disconnect power and follow appliance-specific service safety procedures before working internally
- Replace any damaged mating threads or clips for a secure fit

Kennmore elite microwave with f5 error code Julius D. • Oxford , PA • February 11, 2017
When Microwaving food, the display panel would seem to act normal, but the typical microwave sound would be absent. No microwave action would occur. Eventually an F5 code would display. Problem was the upper door switch. Found it by opening up the cabinet, removing the display panel (1 screw and a couple of plugs) and testing all three micro switched with a meter. Two switches are for the door and one for some kind of ventilation flap. They are all in the same area. Go to YouTube to see...

Glass fell out of its retainers and plastic clips holding the frame assembly to the door broke off Steve C. • Caledonia , WI • September 23, 2015
Careful placement of new screws into the inside of the outer door that now hold the frame assembly to the door secured the frame assembly to the outer door. All of the other parts I bought and replaced were a waste of money. I figured since I had them I might as well install them anyways. Easier than sending them back since I had the whole thing apart anyways. The part I really needed was no longer available, the outside door. The glass reinstalled into the retainers in the door without a...

The Door Latch Housing and Interlock Switch Assembly is an OEM replacement part for LG microwaves. It consists of the protective door latch housing casing along with the two-door switches and interlock switch.
The interlock switch prevents microwave energy from being generated inside the oven when the door is open. It shuts off all power once a faulty seal is detected between the door and cavity.
Symptoms of issues can include:
- Microwave failing to turn on or cook with the door open
- Sparking or arcing seen near the door seal or frame
- Error codes displayed related to interlock detection faults
Compatible models include some GE, Kenmore, and Samsung units using matching door designs sourced from LG.

Microwave would not cook. everything else worked no heat. Joe H. • San Juan Capistrano , CA • October 21, 2019
Followed the instructions on your "fix it" video on how to test for a bad micro-sensor. Wola! found one of the three micro-sensors was faulty. Replaced the whole board Assembly, latch just in case the other micro-sensors were ready to go bad. Ten minutes and I was back to using the microwave.
