Before we replaced the board, my wife tried to replace just the element. We had one we had ordered several years ago when this same thing happened. When that didn't work we replaced the board and could see where the old board was damaged so we figured this was the solution. Online chat here said that the oven sensor should be replaced. I got the feeling that was a bit off, so I went with my gut and ordered the thermostat as well. Replaced the sensor and that didn't fix it. Replaced the thermostat and it worked like a charm! Disappointed that they were overconfident in their answer and it would have taken me more days to fix - but, the products came in quickly (basically, next day) and were correct. It took a little longer then I was hoping but wasn’t terrible. If the burner is very old at all make sure to get the new screws. Both of mine snapped when trying to remove them. The new one works great. Read more

Had to pull double oven and range top out from wall which involved removing the upper kitchen cabinet. Took the sheet metal off the back and had the socket swapped out in a couple of minutes. My old oven works like a charm! Read more

Replaced the old valve with a new one from AppliancePartsPros.com. I watched one of the YouTube videos to get an idea of what the process would entail. I gathered the tools I would require, plus a work light. The repair/replacement went pretty good. One thing the video I watched didn't cover was adjusting the valve for a propane system. I compared my old valve to the new one and saw that I would have to screw down the oven gas outlet until it "bottomed out". Read more

I thought it was the burners and ordered four burners. When they arrived I thought three of them were wrong parts so I ordered three others and scheduled a return of three I had just received. I then realized it was not the burner but the diffuser plated on top of the burners. I cancelled the new order, arranged a return of the four initial burners and ordered four diffuser plated. Everything was straight forward and easy to repair, I had an appliance tech come out and troubleshoot the repair and watched what he did and asked questions. I then ordered the parts from here and did the repairs myself and saved on having the tech make another trip out. Read more
