Cooling fan on slide in Electrolux range making loud noise Michael D. • Marshall , NC • February 03, 2019
Simple fix. Power off, remove 14 screws, lift top (use wood blocks to hold), unplug white and black wires from fan motor, twist motor assembly counter clockwise and lift to remove. Take new fan motor and do steps in the reverse. Worked like a champ. NOTE: First part arrived in 2 days but fan was shattered, called Appliancepartspro at 4 PM and had a replacement delivered before 11 AM the next day. Awesome response and customer service.

Part Number: 318372016
This heat-resistant insulation helps contain oven heat and shield surrounding components. Replacing worn insulation supports faster, more consistent preheating, steadier baking temperatures, and cooler exterior panels for safer, more efficient operation. What it does:
- Wraps/lines the oven cavity or panels to reduce heat loss and protect nearby wiring and controls
- Helps the oven preheat efficiently and maintain consistent cooking temperatures
- Limits heat transfer to exterior panels and surrounding cabinetry
- Common signs of failure: longer preheat times, temperature swings, unusually hot sides/back, or insulation that is burnt, brittle, soaked, or missing
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power and, if applicable, shut off gas before servicing
- Access typically requires removing rear/side panels or sliding the unit out; take photos to aid reassembly
- Wear gloves and a dust mask; handle gently—do not compress insulation and keep clear of sensors/wiring
- Re-secure with original clips/tape, reinstall panels, then test preheat and check for abnormal exterior heat
