Too much heat escaping the door Michael K. • Mechanicsville , VA • June 22, 2016
Removing was easy. Pull out the ends of the seal, the ends aren't locked in. Then, pull up on each retaining clip. Each clip is held in with spring tension.
Reinstallation was easy too. Start on one end, Twist frayed end into cone-like shape and insert into one of the holes for the seal. Push in with a skewer/screwdriver. Insert first clip into the first hole. Go around in a linear fashion, inserting each clip into each hole. After the last clip is pushed in, twist the end of the frayed end...

Oven did not work Jason S. • Massillon , OH • October 20, 2014
Replaced Oven control Board, I actually had a "professional" appliance repair man come to the house and tell me what was wrong with the oven. While he was standing in my kitchen, I noticed he pulled up the AppliancePartsPros.com website to quote me the pricing for the parts. I did not see it necessary to pay him the marked up price. He left the house without repairing the oven I proceeded to order the parts that same evening, replaced the bad parts the same day I received them. I noticed while...

The Switch Rocker is an OEM part for Frigidaire ranges. This switch is used to control various functions of the range, such as turning on heating elements or activating specific cooking modes. It provides a reliable and straightforward interface for managing the range's features.
You should replace the range switch rocker if it becomes faulty. Causes of a bad switch rocker can include wear and tear from frequent use, exposure to high temperatures, electrical malfunctions, or physical damage from impacts or mishandling. A defective switch rocker can result in unresponsive controls, making it challenging to operate the range effectively.
Symptoms of a bad Range Switch Rocker include:
- The switch not responding when pressed
- Inconsistent or flickering performance of the heating elements
- Physical damage or looseness in the switch
- Intermittent operation or complete failure to activate the desired function
This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.

The rocker switch for to adjust the size of the heating element for the stove broke as well as the rocker switch to adjust the oven light broke Benjamin G. • West Sacramento , CA • January 07, 2017
I purchased 2 new light rocker switches, Because the heating element rocker switch was unavailable. First I removed the power source for safety. Then I simply pulled each switch out individually with a flathead screwdriver for leverage. I simply unplugged the wires from the old rocker switch, discarded the old rocker, plugged the wires into the new rocker switch, and pushed the new switch appropriately back into the control panel. I used the same steps for both rocker switches. Once...
