Symptoms of faulty glide plates include:
- Racks that do not slide smoothly or get stuck
- Difficulty removing or replacing racks
- Warping, melting, or damage of the glide surfaces
- Improper rack level placement or movement during baking
This OEM part is also compatible with some Electrolux, Westinghouse, and Kennmore ranges.

Needed to replace bottom panel in Fridgedaire electric oven Sharon T. • Monroe Township , NJ • July 31, 2018
Went on site, read the reviews to see how difficult it would be or if any problems. Then ordered it And received it the next day!!!
The 2 screws were a bit hard to remove. Found the right screwdriver by using the 2 new screws I ordered.
Once I got them out, lifted the old panel out. Pushed down on one corner so could get a grip on opposite corner to lift out.
Once out, put in new one. Put in new screws and good to go!
Will certainly NOT line with foil ever again!!!
