Kenmore Refrigerator 795.71602010 (79571602010, 795 71602010) Parts

So I read a number of the earlier posts regarding the required repairs and went forward with all those repairs. In short, I replaced the wiring harness, door switches, and bulbs. The problem still persisted so I went ahead and replaced the control board. That did the trick. So for my unit, LG LFX25960ST replacing all those components were required. Ordered the parts, which was a pair of ice gears and the bar that connects them. Had to refer to upper freezer drawer to figure out how the gears fit into the rails. Turns out they snap into a plastic hub that is riveted on the rail. Took some effort to finally get them to snap on. At first it seemed like they would not fit. Replaced the Left Door Holder Assembly (part # AP4439134). Carefully removed the cover, napped out the broken assembly, snapped in the new assembly, and replaced the cover. Read more
