Replaced drive motor assembly. As luck would have it, the replacement motor was loud but at least ran for the entire cycle. APP was informed of the excessively noisy motor and immediately sent out a replacement, which is working just fine in relative silence. And rear drum panel in order to replace worn part. Reassembled in 15minutes to clean and vacuumed dryer. Works great now.
