The bearing on the dryer drum wore out so bad the ball fell off Thomas J. • Green Bay , WI • October 31, 2016
I replaced the ball and socket connection for the drum. After doing so, I realized that the belt had been stretched and the tension pulley was not putting enough tension on the belt to turn the drum. After ordering a new belt, extra screw that was lost while disassembling the dryer, and some high temperature lubricant for the drum ball and socket the dryer now runs as well as it did when it was new.

Cracked panel glass inner oven door George P. • Red Bank , NJ • November 21, 2014
Opened oven door to the fully opened position. Pulled up the the lock located on both hinge supports and engaged it in the hook of the hinge levers. You may need to apply a little downward pressure on the door to pull the locks fully over the hooks. In addition, you may need to use a flat head screwdriver to "help" engage the hinge locks over the hook. Hold the door securely on both sides (not the door handle). Pulled the bottom of the door up and toward me to disengage the hinge supports....

Oven door would not close tightly Seth B. • Needham , MA • January 02, 2015
I bought replacement hinges and installed them myself. The hardest part of the job was the first part: to remove the oven door you have to lock the old hinges with small brackets, and one side did not want to lock--I had to use a hammer. The door was heavier than it looks, but the only challenge after that was the fact that the edges of the door parts were sharp. I probably should have worn gloves when handling them. You have to take the door apart to insert the new hinges, but it's just...

We had an f1 error on our frigadare stove Greg C. • Cincinnati , OH • March 20, 2015
Ordered a new clock/timer control. This was very easy to install the real trick was removing about 8 wires and 4 plug in connectors from the board and then reinstalling them back in the same location as the were before. I took a photo of the board with my IPhone before taking all the wires off, this made it very easy to reinstall the wires on the same terminals as before. There are 2 additional connectors on the board that a flat ribbon cable from the touch button panel attaches to. Do not just...
