The Hi Limit Thermal Fuse is an OEM part for LG dryers. This fuse is a safety device that protects the dryer from overheating by cutting off power to the heating element if the dryer’s temperature exceeds a safe limit. It ensures that the dryer operates within safe temperature ranges, preventing potential fire hazards.
Replace the hi limit thermal fuse if it becomes faulty due to wear and tear, a buildup of lint, or exposure to high temperatures over time. A malfunctioning fuse can compromise the dryer’s ability to regulate heat properly.

This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore models.
Checked and cleaned vent which was in need of cleaning, but not too bad (I do not consider this a primary causal detail, but can be a problem, so clean yours). This side venting kit allows you to redirect your dryer's exhaust air out through a side wall instead of the back of the unit. It includes the necessary ductwork and connections to safely route hot, moist air outside your home. Use this kit when your dryer installation requires side venting due to space constraints or structural limitations.

You can find the specific model on youtube and see how your dryer comes apart. While doing this i cleaned all the inner parts of my dryer. The parts that come in the kit can be bought at home depot for much less but you don't know what length you need. I ordered the kit so I could have the back plate and... Read more
