The Vent Hose is an OEM part for LG washing machines. This hose is essential for ensuring proper ventilation within the washer, allowing air to circulate and preventing the buildup of moisture and mildew. It helps maintain the efficiency of the washing machine by facilitating the expulsion of air and excess water vapor during operation.
Causes of a bad washer vent hose can include wear and tear over time, blockages from lint or debris, or damage due to bending or pinching.
Symptoms of a bad vent hose include:
- Excessive moisture or condensation inside the washer
- Musty odors from the washing machine
- Visible cracks or holes in the hose
- Poor ventilation leading to inefficient washing cycles
This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore.

Water leaking from my front load washing machine Donald H. • Tustin , CA • July 03, 2015
Removed the top cover while the machine was operating, located the source of the leak. The top filler tube had worn a hole in a flex point. Found the right part on this site, replaced it with little effort. While in there I saw a similar hose and decided to replace it as its time was probably up too. So far so good, washing clothes and no leaks!! Great prices and best of all the right parts were delivered in a timely manner. Thanks for making this so easy. Only specialty tool used was hose...

Needed shipping bolts to move Kenya B. • Phoenix , AZ • July 31, 2014
I recently moved (worse move ever...) and needed shipping bolts to move my washer. I had attempted to purchase this same item on another site, but they had let me go thru the process of purchasing the item a few times only to send me an email later and say they were out of stock. So I was left under the gun to get my appliances out. I received these items really quickly and I wish I had of ordered them here in the first place then I wouldn't have been so stressed. Thank you.

The drum was hesitating and then not turning at all with an error code. Wife also smelled "something burning", which of course is never a good sign. Ordered a new stator and had my LG washer back up and running 15 minutes after getting the $100 stator via FedEx. This is the third repair on this machine in 8 years, all parts received from APP!!!! Bad bearings seal and spider David R. • Jacksonville , FL • February 04, 2017
If your LG Front load washers sounds like a freight train, STOP USING IT. You're doing more damage and will need more parts to fix it.
After the noise became unbearable, I began to explore and disassemble. I knew enough to know the bearings must be bad but had never done this repair before. ( I am however pretty mechanically inclined.)
Watch this video before you start tearing your LG apart. APP did a great job explaining the steps of the repair. Do a search on this site or youtube.com with...

Washer would not do anything no buttons would even light up Mark S. • Eagan , MN • March 30, 2015
Watched you tube for recommendations and decided it must be the master control board. I ordered a new one on Monday standard shipping and received it on Thursday. Had a bit of trouble removing a few of the wiring harnesses from old board but new one went in smoothly. Whole project took approx 1-1/2 hours working time. Hit the button and "yes sir" Houston we have lift off. We are again up and running. The master controller is expensive, but I would guess I saved myself about $200.00 by doing it...
