I replaced the solenoid valve and trimmed a small amount of the tubing that serves the ice maker and water dispenser. The only problem was there is almost NO slack in that tubing. If you trim more than a half inch off, you won't have enough tubing to connect it on both ends.

Got 2 new left and right gaskets. However, one of the new gaskets arrived crinkled and dirty. I was able to get a quick and perfect replacement after documenting the problem. Each LG fridge is different. In my case, I had to remove the door lid and its 2 screws, spring and latches and lift it out - Appliance parts pros had a video on how to do that. Very helpful. Stick with these folks. !!
