This sensor monitors water flow inside the dishwasher to ensure proper water circulation during wash and rinse cycles. It sends signals to the control board to regulate water intake and pump operation. Replace this sensor if the dishwasher displays error codes related to water flow, fails to fill properly, or stops mid-cycle due to incorrect flow detection.

My lg lds5540st was squealing during the wash cycle David D. • Alabaster , AL • April 21, 2017
I replaced the dishwasher circulation motor. I also replaced the impeller assembly, although it turns out that was not necessary. Actually replacing the motor was straightforward: Remove the upper and lower racks. Turn off the breaker and water supply. Disconnect power, supply water and drain hose. Slide out the dishwasher. Inside the dishwasher, unscrew the two screws holding on the bottom rotating sprayer and remove the sprayer, unscrew the one screw holding the little metal bracket and...

This replacement switch cam interfaces with a lever or knob to actuate a microswitch. It restores reliable on/off signaling and the positive feel/engagement of the related control or latch mechanism when the original cam wears or cracks.
- Translates lever or rotary motion into precise switch activation
- Ensures the switch travels fully to open and close as intended
- A worn or broken cam can cause intermittent operation or functions that won't start/stop as expected
- Helps bring back a defined "click" or detent at the control/lever
What's included: 1 switch cam Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing; turn off gas/water if applicable
- Access the switch or latch assembly; remove any knob, trim, or cover as needed
- Note the cam's orientation/indexing before removal; take photos for reference and transfer any springs/clips
- After reassembly, manually test the mechanism to ensure smooth switch actuation before restoring power

Lg dishwasher “ne” or “ue” error code (vario spray arm). Dimitri T. • Cranston , RI • February 26, 2019
This was a very simple repair. It was done in about an hour. It involves disconnecting the dishwasher, emptying the water from the inside, taking it out and flipping it over, and replacing the diverter motor. This repair is done on the underside of the dishwasher, nothing to disconnect inside (just remember to remove the baskets). It would be wise to order the motor seal and micro switch that goes with it as they are all cheap parts and easy to swap out during the procedure. Be sure to take...

I called a repairman out ($90) to diagnose problem which I was unable to figure out on my own (after tearing apart dishwasher). It was a simple $1 washer that was rotten. While I was on this website I went ahead and ordered some other gaskets too.

This clamp secures hoses or wiring to the appliance chassis to prevent movement, chafing, and vibration-related wear. It helps keep connections stable so hoses and wires stay in place during normal use. What it does:
- Holds water, drain or vent hoses in position to reduce strain and prevent rubbing
- Keeps wiring harnesses routed and fastened to avoid chafing or accidental disconnection
- Reduces vibration-related noise caused by loose hoses or wires
- Helps prevent hose kinks and unintended movement that can lead to leaks or intermittent electrical issues
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing; shut off water supply if working with water lines
- Remove panels as needed to access the hose or wiring route, then replace the clamp in the same orientation
- Use appropriate pliers or a screwdriver if required; do not overtighten or deform the hose or wiring
- If the original clamp was secured with a fastener, retain and reuse it only if undamaged; replace any stripped or broken hardware
