LG Help-line said probably a failed magnetron, but since out of warranty,referred me to an authorized LG repair service. They wanted $79.95 service call to come out & diagnose problem. The Door Latch Housing and Interlock Switch Assembly is an OEM replacement part for LG microwaves. It consists of the protective door latch housing casing along with the two-door switches and interlock switch.
The interlock switch prevents microwave energy from being generated inside the oven when the door is open. It shuts off all power once a faulty seal is detected between the door and cavity.
Symptoms of issues can include:

Followed the instructions on your "fix it" video on how to test for a bad micro-sensor. Wola! found one of the three micro-sensors was faulty. Replaced the whole board Assembly,latch just in case the other micro-sensors were ready to go bad. Ten minutes and I was back to using the microwave.

I ordered your door assembly which I received in just a few days. Great service. There were no instructions included as to how to remove and replace the door. I checked with your repair clinic and found out I just had to remove the top grill and then just lift the door up off its hinge pins and then install the the new door the same way. Took about 2-3 minutes for the repair! No tools required!
