Broken spider on Samsung WF330 after 8.5 years - faithful operation up to that point, so repair attempted. Spider, bolts, and support spring bushings (which can be unsnapped to make spring removal and thus tub removal super easy) ordered along with tub seal, bearings, and shaft seal from Amazon.com. First I checked the breaker and outlet and both were good...then I unplugged the machine, took the top off, and removed the control panel. Replaced drum bearings. Replaced front shocks, one had hardly any resistance. Replace both door boot clamps. Always take pictures as you take apart ! Learned the hard way years ago ! Read more

Replaced the suspension components by slightly lifting and supporting the drum assembly allowing replacement of the two support springs, followed by replacing the two shock dampers located at the lower front of the machine, followed by replacing the two rear dampers. The only difficulty was in designing a system to gently lift and support the drum assembly, needed to safely replace the top support springs. The front legs were slightly worn and the rubber coverings were missing from the rear feet. This allowed the washer to slide easily on the tile floor. I replaced all four feet. This only required a 12 mm open end wrench. After leveling the washer, things were improved, but I also took the opportunity to replace the four shock absorbers under the drum. Difficult job. Required the complete washer to be taken apart.. With the help of your videos and youtubes was able to get through it. Cleaned everything inside and out. Attached the flange shaft assembly to the inner stainless steel tub via the spider bolts and basically worked backwards from the disassembly. Took a long time total of about eight hours for the whole process not including the cleaning. But it saved me about $600 dollars. Read more

I had to disassemble the barrel assembly in order to find the cause. The videos showed how to do it. I did it according to the videos, not too hard, just time consuming and labor intensive. I found the flange shaft assembly was badly cracked, allowing the barrel to shift off center and rub. I purchased the assembly, a new tub seal and a ring (there was a ring included with the assembly, so didn't really need the ring} from here.
