Oh well, nothing the occasional hair dryer won't take care of,...

The tiny white knob broke off of top of french door small center piece and the center hinge was cracked Kristine H. • Duluth , MN • October 20, 2018
I ordered the French door housing, the new piece has a solid raised curved part that enters the guide, and a new center hinge. I watched both repair videos shown on appliance parts Pro. It looked pretty simple, so I got my 2 screw drivers and unplugged the refrigerator and started. The hardest part was removing the upper and lower hinges. The video didn’t show how he got them loose, after several minutes of frustration I figured out how to release the hinge. The new parts installed really...

Freezer door handle came off Vladimir A. • Charlotte , NC • April 04, 2015
Replaced broken handle support bracket (part #AP5620448) and cap (part #AP5620751). Used a phillips head screwdriver and allen wrench. Pliers also came in very handy.
If replacing cap and support bracket, be sure to install cap before support bracket, otherwise you'll have trouble installing the cap.
I ended up not needing to replace the fixer handle (part #AP4372038), but I'll keep it around just in case.
