My wife noticed that our washing machine was making a terrible rumbling noise and seemed to be out of balance all of the time. Unplugged power cord. Removed the microwave from over the range. Removed vent and screws on of microwave, which allowed me to remove compartment containing sensor at upper left area of microwave. Removed clamp holding sensor. Removed and replaced sensor. Reversed process and reinstalled unit. Read more

The manufacture did not crimp the connectors down all the way so that every time the capacitor discharged the connector would arc on the sensor. When I took the cover off and noticed the damage the plastic had already turned to ash. Replaced the cutoff sensor with the one advised to me by Appliance Parts Pros and everything works as it should. I also soldered the connection this time just to be sure. Read more
