This is a return pipe used in many types of Echo lawn and garden equipment. When the primer bulb is pressed, it moves all of the air located inside of the carburetor so that the chambers can be filled with fuel. Any excess fuel will then be forced back to the tank using the return pipe. After time and use, the return pipe can start to crack and become brittle and will need to be replaced.If the return pipe is no longer working correctly, a new replacement part will need to be installed. First, drain the gas from the tool and disconnect the spark plug wire. The fuel lines and fuel tank should then be taken off of the carburetor. Remove the fuel line, vent, and check valve.
