Dennis May 29, 2015 for Model Number SHE3ARF6UC/14 This dishwasher starts the wash cycle then stops while full of water and show fault code E20. Looking on the internet I was able to find the code E20 indicates a short or break in the recirculation pump or main motor. How do I find out which of these is the problem?
1 Answer Dennis, This E20 eroor is winding resistance of the main pump is wrong. Check the connections between the Main pump (M2) and power module. The resistance between any 2 terminals of the main pump should be 13O at room temp. If not, then replace the main pump. If the resistance is 13O replace the power module. Read More...
Bern April 16, 2015 for Model Number Bosch SHX46A05 UC/26 Just replaced the circulation pump as the old one was leaking. Dishwasher now fills with water but does not wash beyond that. Motor hums but no action. Eventually we smell burning so I have to shut the dishwasher off. I can get it to drain properly and there is no water leaking to bottom pan. Could the new circulation pump be defective or is there something I should check.
2 Answers Bern, You will want to check to make sure that there is nothing inside the pump that could be causing the circulation pump impeller to bind up. If this checks ok then the circulation pump would be the issue. Read More...

2 Answers Hello Bern. You need to check and make sure nothing has the impeller locked up on the circulation pump. If not, then the motor may be bad on the unit. Read More...
Jon M March 18, 2015 for Model Number Bosch SHX43C06UC/46 Dishwasher making a loud squealing noise during second half of cycle. Does not happen when running a quick rinse and hold cycle. Ran cooking oil through it and that made noise go away for a week or two. Now it's back. Do I need to replace circulation pump?
1 Answer Hello Jon. If the noise is coming from the motor, you will need to replace the motor in the unit. Read More...
John March 01, 2015 for Model Number SHU9925UC/14 The dishwasher fills up with water runs but there is no pressure inside the wash machine. I hear the pump running but the water does not flow.
1 Answer John, You will want to check the impeller on the circulation pump to make sure that it is not clogged or damaged. This will be the most likely cause for the unit to not circulate the water. Read More...
David R February 09, 2015 for Model Number SHE68P05UC/ My Bosch dish washer will fill with water and do nothing, no noises, no washing. Eventually the the timer will count down it will pump out the water but nothing is clean or wet. I suspect it is the circulation pump. Is it a common problem with this unit. I did clean the filter screens. they were pretty bad. Did this contrubute to the problem? Thanks, Dave
1 Answer David, You will want to access the control module and test to make sure that there is power going to the circulation motor. If there is then test the motor to make sure that it is getting the power. If not then the issue would be the circulation motor. Read More...
Scott R January 19, 2015 for Model Number FSAR55UC/08 Model number is not clear on right side of door. Bosch dishwasher is about 1.5 years old, purchased at Lowes. Wash cycle finishes, control panel shows "Clean", dirty water still in bottom of unit. When unit is running, spray arms are working.
1 Answer Scott, You will want to check the microfilter and make sure that it is not dirty and check the drain pump to make sure that the impeller is not loose or damaged. Check to make sure that there is nothing caught in the drain. Read More...
Jim January 12, 2015 for Model Number SHU5316 UC/12 During the wash cycle, there is a constant noise coming from the front right bottom of the unit. I can't tell if it's the pump or the motor. Wash cycle is working fine but noise is becoming louder. Hard to describe the noise....unlike any friction-related noise I might recognize such as a bad bearing. Any way to determine if it's the pump or motor? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Jim. The only way to know is access the parts and look for something in the impellers and turn them by hand. You should be able to tell if they are bad. Read More...
Tony L November 01, 2014 for Model Number SHU66C06 UC/14 (FD 8211-) On any cycle, I hear the hum of the motor, but there is no water flowing or pumping. I've checked that the water valve is open and cleaned out the large object trap. The trap did have water still in it which I removed with a wetvac. Is it the pump or clogged filter/hose? Is this user repairable? Thank you!!
1 Answer Tony, In order to check the sump assembly to make sure that there is nothing clogged in the pump you would need to pull the unit out and remove the bottom of the unit. This will give access to the pump assembly to be able to see if it is clogged. It will also give access to the circulation pump. You will want to make sure that there is water coming into the unit. Luke M. October 06, 2014 for Model Number shu5306uc/u11 I am trying to fix a leak problem in the base and took apart the motor from the pump. The large o-ring is now too large to fit into the pump and too loose to snug onto the impeller side. So, I can't get the motor to remount to the pump. The o-ring gets in the way. Am I not seeing where to mount the o-ring or has the o-ring enlarged? What am I doing wrong?
1 Answer Luke, It sounds like the o Ring has enlarged and is not allowing proper seating. You would want to replace the o ring of the part. Read More...
