Deno May 03, 2018 for Model Number Bosch SHX45P05UC/64 My Bosch diswasher was not draining. I cleaned and checked the impeller and drain lines. They seem to be clear. During a test run, I noticed that after the cycle starts, the screen does not count down - it's dark. The cycle will stop and the screen indicates "0" and the floor light goes off. But the dishwasher has not drained. What's up? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Deno. If the unit is skipping the drain cycle, you will need to order and replace the main control board on the unit. Thank you. Read More...
Paulywog May 02, 2018 I have a Bosch model SHU43C02UC dishwasher that quit at about 91 minutes left and was buzzing, then if you pressed the power off and then on again it would run for about 3 seconds washing and then quit again. I removed the super fine filter and noticed it was completely blocked on the inside. I had to sort of bend its screens to crack off the hard stuff that was on it, then i reinserted and started dishwasher and its running for now so do think maybe it could not draw enough water to wash and thats what was shutting it off?
1 Answer Paulywog, The fine filter being clogged would most likely be the cause for the unit to not washing since it has to be clean to operate properly. Read More...
Dave April 19, 2018 for Model Number SHU43C02UC/17 Yesterday dishwasher had a hot plastic smell. Today it cycled fine but stopped on 1 minute until I opened the door. Was not hot inside the dishwasher and soap in the bottom. Heating element?
1 Answer Hello Dave, You should first verify the water fill since the detergent should be washed away by the water circulation and this sounds like you have no water fill. This would also explain the hot plastic smell since heating with no water will cause this complaint. this would most commonly be caused by a lack of water pressure to the unit or a bad water inlet valve 00425458. Don February 25, 2018 for Model Number SHE43RF5UC Our Bosch used to run regular short cycles, but for the past 6 months it has been cycling for hours. Appreciate your input.
1 Answer Don, You will want to check the heat circuit to make sure that it is heating up and check the turbidity sensor that could be faulty. Read More...
Kenny January 25, 2018 for Model Number SHX45P05UC/62 Unit runs for less than 30 minutes and shuts off. Power switch does nothing...no indicators lit. After it cools down it comes back to life. If the machine was running, and you don't open the door and if you wait long enough the unit will come back on but at the original run time. If I remove the front panel and take the control board out and hang it in open air it runs fine. Something must be overheating on the board and causing it to fail. Can anyone tell me what could be overheating on the board? I am an engineer and I can fix it but I was hoping someone could help me avoid all of the reverse engineering and debugging. If I have to replace the board fine but if anyone has actually debugged it down to the component level, that would be genius. Thanks,
1 Answer Kenny, With this issue it will most likely be caused by a faulty control board. The control board may have a relay or a solder joint that is bad and would cause this issue to occur. A control board would be the part needed. Read More...
Lindsey December 29, 2017 for Model Number SHE65T55UC/02 My dishwasher starts it’s cycle but with no water. And it stops at 1 minute in a constant loop. When I hold on the start button for 3 seconds to reset it, it jumps to 3 minutes. Then I turn it off and back on and it’s set to the normal load run time. It ran a cycle with water a day ago, but stopped at the 1 minute mark. Now there’s no water and it doesn’t dispense the detergent.
1 Answer Lindsay, The unit getting to 1 minute and not advancing will be caused by a heating issue and will need to test the heating element and the thermostat. If these check ok then the issue will most likely be an issue with the control module. Read More...
Brian November 29, 2017 for Model Number SHE43F02UC/50 On Regular Wash cycle, the timer counts down to 1, but then continues to run for a long time. Quite often, the dishes are not as dry as they used to be. I thought the heater was bad and was going to replace it when we decided to try the Quick Wash cycle. It works perfectly. Could this be a control module issue?
1 Answer Brian, With the unit working good in one setting but not in another then this will most likely be a faulty control module. Read More...
Freda November 18, 2017 for Model Number SHU66C06UC/47 My Bosch Dishwasher runs for a long time. Sometimes it sits and runs with 1 minute remains for a long time. If I open the door and close it again the 1 minute will jump to a higher number. Help! The dishes aren't clean the the dishwasher smells bad.
1 Answer Freda, Remove the side cover and look for a water leak in the bottom. Usually the extended run time on 1 minute is a float stuck or water leak issue. Make sure there are no leaks and the float is not stuck. If not, then it may be the board Read More...
Arthy November 06, 2017 for Model Number SHE44CO5UC/40 Hi, so my bosch dishwasher is acting kind of crazy. It works fine with the 1st wash cycle. Water fills up good and washes good, but once it drains, the water doesn’t fill for wash 2 cycle and the motor keeps running until it reaches 1 minute. I called repair people and they changed the main control unit and water rotator. Now the problem is still persists. This time he says it’s the water valve. I am not convinced through. Spend $400+ already and now worried if this doesn’t solve the problem, then all the money might go waste. Please suggest what could be the problem.
1 Answer Arthy, With the unit running the motor then this will most likely be that the float may not be dropping down to activate the switch which you will want to check the float and clean it. Read More...
Barbie July 31, 2017 for Model Number SHE46C06UC/22 Dishwasher runs fine until it hits the last minute when it then takes an hour to complete that cycle. Should I replace my dishwasher? Control panel was replaced 2 years ago. Can this problem be fixed by me?
1 Answer Hello Barbie, This is most likely an issue with the control 00661682 if the unit is draining properly. If it is not draining properly it could be an issue with the drain pump 00167082 or a clogged filter, (00441905, 00615079), or drain line. This should not be too difficult for you to repair. Just remember to turn the power off at the breaker before attempting the repair. Read More...
