Ric March 29, 2012 for Model Number bosch shu 6806uc part 266746 What buttons do I push to set the correct program sequence?
1 Answer Hello Ric, With the control out of the panel and connected to the harness, you press and hold all four buttons from the left at the same time. This puts you into the mode to program the control. From here you have to use the instruction sheet provided with the new part to determine by the model number cross on the sheet, which program to set in the control. Read More...

Doug February 25, 2012 for Model Number Shu6805uc. Part no 266746 How do remove the module from the door?
1 Answer Hello Doug. If you have any technicians gloves they will come in handy to prevent getting cut! The control module 00266746 has three slotted catches on the bottom of it. Referring to the new part should give you an idea of what I'm talking about. You have to use a small flat blade screwdriver to lightly depress the catches one at a time while holding a constant outward pressure (away from the panel) on the module so the last catch doesn't re-engage. The first two are harder as letting off of your pressure will allow the catches to re-engage. I certainly hope this has helped! Good luck! Read More...
Angela February 01, 2012 for Model Number SHU6802UC/06 FD7706 After starting my dishwasher, it sounds like water is going in and then it sounds like it is trying to drain. It repeats this process until I turn it off. I had a repairman look at it, after going through several steps and checking several parts, he pushed 2 or 3 buttons and told me it just needed to be reset. With it being several years ago, could you tell me which buttons to push to reset my dishwasher
1 Answer Hello Angela. To reset the control module 00266746, you will put the dishwasher into the cancel/drain mode and let it complete the cycle. Hope this helps. Read More...
Andy January 24, 2012 for Model Number SHU5315UC/U06 FD7809 The dishwasher runs without stopping. Does get hot.
1 Answer Hello Andy. If the unit continues to run, and it sounds like the pump, check and see if there is water in the bottom of the unit. If there is water in the bottom of the unit, you will need to check and see where it is leaking from. This turns on the pump to prevent a flood in the floor. Sometimes, you need to run the unit and see if the hoses are leaking. Hope this helps. Read More...
Sushmita January 19, 2012 for Model Number SHU5315 UC/06 My dishwasher only works on the Power Scrub mode. All other modes like Regular wash or econo/delicate modes don't work. I tried the test function by pressing the power scrub + econo buttons to restart it, but it just restarted the power scrub wash mode. Also it takes unusually long to drain, sometimes starts counting down from 80min but ends up taking all day and when I just open the door the soapy water doesn't drain out. Does this mean I need to replace the control module. Also do I need a new control module cover or any other parts as well because of the current model I have. Will this equivalent control module have some modes my current model doesn't support i.e will I also get any other modes I didn't have before?
1 Answer Hello Sushmita. Based on the model and information you provided, 00266746 is the correct control module. It does not include any other features than your old one and will work properly in the model number you provided. Hope this helps. Read More...
Rochelle K. January 14, 2012 for Model Number SHU6805UC/12 I have been told that the control board on my Bosch dishwasher has failed. The diswasher starts at 2h never finishes, fills with lukewarm water and doesn't drain completely, unless I manually hit the drain button. The dishes also so not dry. Do I need a control board or is it a heater? if so what part do I need to fix it?
1 Answer Hi Rochele. The 2H code is that either the incoming water temperature is below 120° or the heater has a bad circuit. Check the both of these. Run the water at the sink and test the hottest to compare. If you need to raise the water heater temperature, then this may fix it. If you can clamp on a amp probe around the red heater wire to see if it uses 10 amps. of power. If you have no amps, then test for 120 vac to insure the control board relay output is OK and the wires to the heater are OK. If there is voltage then you have a bad element. Part # 00480317. If you do not have voltage then you have a bad control board part # 00266746. Control Module - Made by Bosch. Common program control module for Bosch dishwashers SHU53/68. NOTE The manufacturer has redesigned the cover and indicator lights. Lights may be covered by the plastic case. You may have to remove the square covers over the indicator lights if needed. The same case is used for 6 and 8 indicator light models. They also no longer use the red bulb indicator lights, small surface mounted lights are used instead. Thank You. Read More...

Nelson January 04, 2012 Purchased control module ap280780 and replaced my Siemens 5 600 056 933, realizing the manufacturer has changed the control module to a bigger one. My question is I only have 6 plugs versus 8, did I buy the correct part and if I did where do the plugs go? It seems the order has changed and I do not want to fry the new one. Is there a diagram I can use to follow?
1 Answer Hello Nelson. We will need your model number to help you with this. Thanks. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx Read More...
Al January 01, 2012 for Model Number shu5315uc/u11 I have purchased from your company a new control module # ap2802870. After I removed the old module (siemens 5WK5720 /5 600 011 496 EE02)I noticed a plug located on the far right side (looking from front) with six contacts. The left two contacts of this plug are connected with a red wire. The new module is missing this plug. Should I transfer this plug to the new module? I commend you and company on excellent service. I ordered this module between Christmas and New Years. It was at my door in three days. Thanks Al
1 Answer Hello Al, Yes, you will move that part from the old module and install it on the new module 00266746. Hope this helps. Read More...
