Hello Dreed. If you were getting error codes, then you could pull them. However, it sounds like your not getting any. If the cycles are not correct, the control module will need to be replaced on the unit.

Josh for Model Number SHU6805 UC/06 (FD 7705-7912)

I need to replace the control module on my dishwasher. It has all of the typical symptoms like not draining, 2H error code, and forever being on "1 minute remaining" limbo. Also, two of the cycle selection buttons seem to be be pressed in so I imagine the teeth are broken on the control board cover. My question is do I have to buy the control module front cover when I purchase the control module, or does the cover come with the control module when you purchase it? Many Thanks! Josh

Hello Josh. You will need to order both parts. The module and the panel do not come together. Thanks.

Hello Josh. You need to look for a leak under the bottom of the unit. If it is leaking, it will have the issue your having with the unit.

Jeff, The error code is a fill error and you will want to check to make sure that the fill valve is getting voltage. If there is no voltage then the issue will be the control board. With the unit doing this in the diagnostics then it is most likely the control board that has failed.

Greg for Model Number SHU6805 UC/12 (FD 8003-)

My dishwasher stopped working mid wash cycle with a tub full of water. I heard a slight sizzle and the scent of burning electrical apparatus as it failed, so I've replaced the control board. However, nothing happens when I close the door, latch the door and press the power button. There is 120V power to the machine and the door latch and power switch work fine. In fact, I switched the control panel and top half of the front panel on a working machine and everything is dead. The replacement panel works fine on the other machine, so I know it's not the board, switch and latch. Is there a fuse or fused link somewhere I should look for? What else could cause total power loss? Also, is there a secret way to re-install the bottom front panel after all is done? I can't seem to fit the flanges into their slots no matter what I do, and those white plastic bumpers are in the way! Thank you.

Hello Greg, The first thing to do is remove the kick panel and open the power connection box. This is to check the wire nuts that are used to connect the unit to the home power supply. This is the most common cause of this complaint. If you find no loose or burner wire nuts, the next step is to test the door switches and ensure the control has been properly programmed to the model.

Brent, The control panel would be the most likely cause for this error you are experiencing. The Control panel part number is WP8051702 but is only available in black.

Hello Joy. First check and make sure the float in the bottom is not in the up position indicating water leaking in the bottom. If not, then you will need to replace the control module on the unit.

Hello Joe, You will need to check the units' I.D. tag for the full model number. The partial model number you provided brings up six possibilities. This leaves too many choices for a proper repalcement part. Look along the edges of the door liner for the units' I.D. tag and re-post with the full number. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.
