Jb July 28, 2015 for Model Number sh16805uc/u06 When the dishwasher is started, two buttons, regular and ecno, light up, and the motor makes a sound. It does not fill with water. I can not adjust the buttons. Sometimes if I press the two buttons and the on/off switch at the same time I can get it to run, although it can say i'ts on 55 minutes and then it switches to another time. Do you think it's a control panel?
1 Answer Hello JB. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control module is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More...
Josh July 17, 2015 for Model Number SHU6805 UC/06 (FD 7705-7912) I just received a new control module for my dishwasher. I believe my old dishwasher uses the old LED lights. The new module has the surface mounted LEDs. Do I have to do anything different when installing this new module? Will the new LEDs shine through? Many Thanks, Josh
Dreed July 16, 2015 for Model Number SHU43C07UC/17 The dishwasher problems started when it would not take in water. I replaced the water intake module. It seems to take in water now but does other strange things -cycles not what they should be -dishes not clean. What can a novice do to check further into the problem. Is there a way to find the root of the problem through error codes? How is this feature accessed if in fact it does exist?
1 Answer Hello Dreed. If you were getting error codes, then you could pull them. However, it sounds like your not getting any. If the cycles are not correct, the control module will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More...
Josh July 13, 2015 for Model Number SHU6805 UC/06 (FD 7705-7912) I need to replace the control module on my dishwasher. It has all of the typical symptoms like not draining, 2H error code, and forever being on "1 minute remaining" limbo. Also, two of the cycle selection buttons seem to be be pressed in so I imagine the teeth are broken on the control board cover. My question is do I have to buy the control module front cover when I purchase the control module, or does the cover come with the control module when you purchase it? Many Thanks! Josh
1 Answer Hello Josh. You will need to order both parts. The module and the panel do not come together. Thanks. Read More...

1 Answer Hello Josh. You need to look for a leak under the bottom of the unit. If it is leaking, it will have the issue your having with the unit. Read More...
Jeff May 19, 2015 for Model Number SHU5315 UC/06 Wash cycle never ends. Clock doesn't keep accurate time for the cycle count down. I ran the diagnostic test, which also just kept running, and got the error code 4. How do I fix that?
1 Answer Jeff, The error code is a fill error and you will want to check to make sure that the fill valve is getting voltage. If there is no voltage then the issue will be the control board. With the unit doing this in the diagnostics then it is most likely the control board that has failed. Read More...
Greg January 08, 2015 for Model Number SHU6805 UC/12 (FD 8003-) My dishwasher stopped working mid wash cycle with a tub full of water. I heard a slight sizzle and the scent of burning electrical apparatus as it failed, so I've replaced the control board. However, nothing happens when I close the door, latch the door and press the power button. There is 120V power to the machine and the door latch and power switch work fine. In fact, I switched the control panel and top half of the front panel on a working machine and everything is dead. The replacement panel works fine on the other machine, so I know it's not the board, switch and latch. Is there a fuse or fused link somewhere I should look for? What else could cause total power loss? Also, is there a secret way to re-install the bottom front panel after all is done? I can't seem to fit the flanges into their slots no matter what I do, and those white plastic bumpers are in the way! Thank you.
1 Answer Hello Greg, The first thing to do is remove the kick panel and open the power connection box. This is to check the wire nuts that are used to connect the unit to the home power supply. This is the most common cause of this complaint. If you find no loose or burner wire nuts, the next step is to test the door switches and ensure the control has been properly programmed to the model. Brent December 28, 2014 for Model Number DU920PFQQ3 The "normal" wash cycle button failed but the"heavy"cycle button worked. Then, the heavy cycle quit working but the "low energy" button is working now. Can the circuit board be repaired or is this a replacement situation? If replacement is required are they available? Thanks!
1 Answer Brent, The control panel would be the most likely cause for this error you are experiencing. The Control panel part number is WP8051702 but is only available in black. Read More...
Joy December 08, 2014 for Model Number Bosch she4am16uc/03 When start is pressed motor and pump seem to work but water will not start without opening and closing the door several times "tricking" the dishwasher to start by letting water in. Once it does it seems to run fine. Please advise
1 Answer Hello Joy. First check and make sure the float in the bottom is not in the up position indicating water leaking in the bottom. If not, then you will need to replace the control module on the unit. Read More...
Joe November 22, 2014 for Model Number Bosch SHU5316 I have an older Bosch dishwasher with a control panel which only allows regular wash cycles with other functions no longer working. Does it make sense replacing it, and if so, what part number would I need. The photo of what seems to be the replacement part shows too many led lights. Mine has only 5 cycles and a delay start button.
1 Answer Hello Joe, You will need to check the units' I.D. tag for the full model number. The partial model number you provided brings up six possibilities. This leaves too many choices for a proper repalcement part. Look along the edges of the door liner for the units' I.D. tag and re-post with the full number. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...
