Pinkertonfloyd July 09, 2014 My Bosch unit isn't draining in the "Normal cycle"... leaves a few inches of water in the unit (almost to the door edge, dirty water also, even after the "rinse" cycle). When I hit the Cancel/Drain mode, it drains... Hoses are clear ditto for the air gap on my sink. Could this be a control module issue or ???
1 Answer Pinkertonfloyd, The most likely cause for the unit to not drain during the cycle would be a faulty control module. Read More...
Duncan July 02, 2014 for Model Number SHU6805UC/U12 When I turn the power on, the display shows CL and the Regular Wash LED is lit. No further actions are possible. It won't go into test mode, none of the buttons have any effect, etc. I've removed the control module and reseated all the connections, and still it just comes up with CL and is stuck there. Bad control module? Or something really stupid I'm overlooking?
1 Answer Duncan, You've done the more common recommended check(s). Check the control panel buttons and make sure they aren't stuck, out of alignment or damaged. If all's OK, then yes you will need to replace the Control Module 00266746. Read More...
Jacob B June 21, 2014 for Model Number Bosch shu5315uc/u12 I had a bad control board - the dishwasher stopped mid cycle and the screen was dead. One of the solder joints was loose. I resoldered and replaced the control board. Machine is alive again but the screen and buttons are acting like some sort of control mode. The screen displays the periods (it never did that before). The numbers change depending on what button I press ( 4.8. For power scrub down to .4. For rinse and hold). Also the buttons need to be pressed twice in order to cycle through them. Is this some sort of programming mode? How do I program his control board? If it turns out I need to buy a new on - does that one need to be programmed?
1 Answer Jacob, The issue that you are having would not be a programming mode but the control board is faulty and would need to be replaced. If there is programming required it will have an instruction sheet included with the control module. Read More...
Nigel June 11, 2014 for Model Number Bosch SHU 5300 My dishwasher model SHU5300 will not start. was told to replace the control module. The existing control module has some black marks around the relay. So we want to replace the module. we noted that this module has several wire block connectors on as well as a small block with a red wire jumper on. When installing the new control module part 266746 should we also add that little wire jumper that is from the old module with the small red wire jumper on? This is not clear if this jumper needs taken off and added to the new module?
1 Answer Nigel, With the old control module having the jumper wire it is necessary to make sure that you incorporate the jumper on the new control module. Read More...
Kevin June 05, 2014 I have a Bosch shx3ar55uc dishwasher that starts, fills with water, but fails to drain and stops its cycle. No debris anywhere. You can hear the faint sound of the drain pump trying to initiate five times, but it never does and the machine stops. I brought in a professional to look at it, and he said the control module had failed and needed to be replaced. He supposedly ordered the part but never returned and I can't get a hold of anyone at the company. I have changed the control panel, control module and drain pump, but to no avail. I'm desperate. It's been over six months now that this thing has been lying around. It is 18 months old. What can I do?
Dave May 27, 2014 Our Bosch Dishwasher on the timing screen only drops to 87 in the regular wash cycle and will not allow us to choose another cycle. I purchased the control module from you a couple years ago it is part # 266746 R. I assume that it is the control module again
1 Answer Dave, Yes based on the description it does sound like the control module would be the issue. The part number for the module is 00266746. Read More...
