Lev April 22, 2014 for Model Number SHE44C07UC/17 How do I run a diagnostic test on my Bosch SHE44C07uc/17 dishwasher. Unit will not fill. I have replaced the water inlet valve, circulating pump and float. Would like to test the module just don't know how.
1 Answer Lev, You will want to test at the control module with the unit running. You will check from connector 4 pin 3 to connector 4 pin 2 and check for 120 vac. If there is not proper power then the control module is faulty and would need to be replaced. Read More...
Munn P April 14, 2014 for Model Number Bosch SHU5313UC/U12 The dishwasher is not draining at anytime during the cycle. The drain line and internal air gap are clear and as far as I can tell the line from the bottom of the tub/pump impeller are clear as well. I removed the filter screens and drain pump impeller cover, also clear. The impeller turns with the sort of stepped resistance you would expect from a direct drive electric motor. The dishwasher will run through a regular cycle or a wash and hold cycle. Other cycles are not selectable nor is cancel and drain. Could these all be symptoms of a failing control board? Are there other components that could fail and prevent it from draining? Could it still be the drain pump? Thanks, Munn
1 Answer Munn, The first thing to check would be to make sure that the dishwasher controller is sending power to the drain pump when it calls for draining. If it is not then the issue would be the control module. If it does then the drain motor would most likely issue. Read More...
Broken April 14, 2014 for Model Number shu5315uc/12 Unit stopped mid cycle after soap was released, did not drain and will not start. Have had problems with control module in past with bad solder connections. Re soldered two times in last 3 years, now unit just quit. Leads me to the control module? Any thoughts
1 Answer Broken, If the control module has had issues before with the solder joint then it does sound like this may be the issue with your unit again. It is recommended to replace the control module. Read More...
Bob March 27, 2014 for Model Number SHU6806UC/U06 The buttons on my Bosch dishwasher don't work. Only the regular cycle button works. I assume that the control module is the problem. Can you confirm that and tell me which part number is required for that model dishwasher? Is there a jumper wire that is required? Will the lights not match?
1 Answer Bob, The correct control module for your unit is part number 00266746 which is the original manufacturers part number which the lights should line up and there would not be a jumper wire unless the old one has one. Read More...
Al March 27, 2014 for Model Number shu6806uc/u11 FD8002220057 Is this the correct replacement control module for my dishwasher? Is it going to fit exactly like the one I have in stalled now?
1 Answer Hello Al! Yes, the control module 00266746 is the correct replacement and will remove and install as the original did. Thanks! Read More...
Dennis March 17, 2014 for Model Number SHE43F12UC/60 I need the control module buttons. Can you help?
1 Answer Dennis, if you are needing the buttons on the control unit itself, you'll need to order the control unit part number 00676962. If you need the buttons attached to the fascia panel you'll need the push button set part number 00600033 and the on/off button is part number 00604771. Thanks. Read More...
Colleen March 11, 2014 for Model Number SHU(680-0.5300) SHI 6800 The buttons on the control panel are "dead"--when you push them there is nothing behind them. Do I need to replace the control module? How do I do that?
1 Answer Hello Colleen. Yes, it sounds like you need to replace the control module 00266746 on the unit. You will disconnect the power and remove the screws around the inner door liner to access and replace the module. Read More...
Ralph M February 26, 2014 for Model Number SHU6802UC/14 How can I tell if the control module is defective?
1 Answer Ralph, To see if the control module is bad you would want to check for voltage going into the dishwasher module and for voltage out. If there is voltage to the module but there is no voltage coming out of the module then the module is faulty and would need to be replaced. Read More...
Joaquin M February 19, 2014 for Model Number SHU6805UC/U12 The dishwasher stopped mid-cycle; all indicator/panel lights have gone out. Recycling power, no change. Self test does nothing. No sounds from pressing buttons. I've confirmed that on/off switch is operational and that we have AC power to the control module. Two questions: 1) Does it seem certain that the control module needs replacing? (This would be second time in 10 years.) 2) Is control module part # 00266746 really compatible with the SHU6805UC/U12 unit? (Your compatibility tool suggests not, but Bosch says that is the correct part, and there are various vague qualifiers about the part working with a range of models by way of jumpers, cutouts, etc.)
1 Answer Joaquin, With the control module getting power but nothing working, no lights, display or operation then the issue would be a bad control module. The correct part number for the control module is part number 00266746. Read More...
Nick February 03, 2014 for Model Number shu5302UC/UO6 When I turn on the dishwasher the minute timer goes to 82 minutes, the drain pump comes on and stays on, the minute timer does not count down it stays at 82 minutes. I can not reset the program by pushing the two required program switches. The last time it reset it went to 82 minutes then when I swiched off and on it went to 13 minutes the pump started but it din not count down and the pump is still running. Is this a controller problem? The machine is about 12-13 years old.
1 Answer Hello Nick, This is most likely a bad water valve 00425458. If the water valve is not opening fully and there is a drop in the water pressure, the unit will dribble water into the base assembly. The drain pump will kick on all of the time and in some cases, it will continue to run even after the door has been opened. Read More...
